  1. Under Bradshawgate not Great moor Street, that was the Preston line. The whole junction was a triangular one, so trains from Manchester could take the other curve to Bury, hence there where two bridges crossing Manchester Road. The White Horse pub was next to one, long gone now...
  2. Peter Kioso! Irish lad, from Swords near Dublin where I used to get my guitars setup.
  3. Who was the skilful black/ethnic minority lad (think he was on loan from Luton) we had early in the season, tricky fucker he was, he might do a job for us?
  4. Cheers! It's all looking too good......... Proper Bolton pessimism must prevail!
  5. Has Sheehan actually signed? Been out of the loop for a bit and saw nowt on FB BWFC feed...
  6. HB, not, Hird Brown? Classic sponsor, along with Knight Security..... I love a Carr's Pasties sponsored Wanderers shirt......
  7. Meant to put 'my dad' cos im his son. Still no idea why he was wearing the Wanderers stuff, I'd never wear any other teams kit of fashionwear. Not English anyway as I did have a St Pauli top, and I do have a Zenit top, a retro Soviet CCCP top and a West Meath GAA top. Any ideas? About Brian not the tops. Oh, I got a Shadwell top and somewhere a Barnstoneworth United top but they are fictional. And cheers!
  8. My Mrs ex-boss was living spit of Norris, but he kept calling LinkedIn Linderkin and it started to annoy me
  9. My bad, anyone got that pic (sorry about the thread hijack).
  10. Off topic but I remember seeing a pic of Bon Scott with a Bolton sweatshirt on with the Wanderers team necking champagne.
  11. Looks a bit like The Baseball Ground?
  12. I was there and while PNE had a few decent chances I thought Wanderers bossed the game. Not sure about them outnumbering us but ISTR we had the slightly smaller end but there were more of us along the sides, including me. On Cardiff station this sullen PNE fan walked past us and muttered 'best team lost' to which we were incredulous which to me sums up how the game went.
  13. Last time I saw Dave Higson that day, he didn't look well at all, dragging his foot....
  14. it's Molyneux, North Bank
  15. Went once, Milk Cup match, with a 12 foot fibre-glass milk bottle on the centre circle before kick-off and at half-time. Was 0-0 I think AET then pens and we missed all ours. Then the usual 'not watching this crap again' but we were all there the following Saturday.....
  16. Streams seems to be a loop, like in Speed when Keanu got all the passengers off the bus to thwart Dennis Hopper...
