If he has lost the support of the players then I hope he does walk. His job is to motervate them to get results or at very least effort. Pretty much all the players have played regularly in the premier league at some point in there career so they have to have something more about them than what they are currently showing.
If players are not putting in a shift and getting booed by there own fans then the blame maybe unfairly has to lie with the manager. I'm struggling to see how he can turn this around now, I think it's to big a job for him
