Chalk and cheese those 2 halves, but still missing guilt edged chances in the first half. thought Dempsey was outstanding aa was dapo second half. iredale was asking for the towel late on second half and the linesman said to him “your fans have thrown it in the roof” his face was a picture. oh and Hamilton jumping in our end to get the ball (as they didn’t waste much time did they !) getting dogs abuse from this bloke and he just glared and pointed at him. finally at full time a few of their under 10s offering us outside….. very entertaining day.

Yep, defo Jane - just loved the club.

First half absolutely not acceptable in any way, shape or form. Too much going back and sideways, no movement and not enough tempo. they closed us down quickly but weren’t great. For their goal, the left sided player, with stupid orange boots, drifted all the way into the centre unchallenged, knocked it out wide, winger goes forward - unopposed, squares it in for the striker - unopposed, to side foot in. second half created 3 good chances - Charles free header, Charles 1v1 and sadlier free shot at the end. Again, big teams with promotion aspirations, find a way to win or at worst not lose. expected 4 points this week and got nothing. 2 easier away games, 2 good followings and to put no finer point on it - unacceptable. Rant over

Same old, tight grounds, midweek, long throws - show no bottle or fight. only player to take any credit was traff. no shots on target, giving the ball away time after time, goofing long balls - no way we finish top 6 playing like that. big teams find ways to win, or not lose those games - and we have a few of these tests this month.

With train times, we can get a lot further in the same time and get back from a lot further away quicker. might help if we played a bit better, then it won’t feel as much of a slog. we need to be charging them double when they come to ours, as our place is like a palace compared to their leaky tent !

Good solid performance. they looked dangerous early on, but we should be killing these games off earlier as never know what might happen at 1-0. 2 really good saves from traff. thought mj was magnificent today as was Charles. options off the bench are brilliant. need at least 4 points from these next 2 away games.

Looked at the times for this Saturday given the train strike and no trains showing from Manchester to Cheltenham. So presume full refund. same for next weekend ?

Email from train line saying they will be in touch nearer the time when they know if train is cancelled. But do say refund, or even if plans change and train runs a refund with admin fee.

Train line says if your train is cancelled or rearranged then you can get a full refund even on advance tickets. will be further announcements nearer the time.

So when will we know which trains are running or will all be cancelled ?

That first half was inept from players that are meant to be hungry to be given a start. And another goalie blunder for a goal. second half was a lot better. 9 decent pens and a crap one. next.
