The Managerial Roundabout

Shrewsbury potting Cotterill is an odd one,

Spurs possibly seeking a new manager around Christmas, not sure how he will do.

Gerrard to Leeds is rumoured.

Uri Geller to Wigan?

  • I couldn’t give a shit where he ends up

I know he’s not a manager but Standard Liege fans seem gutted we’ve got Fergal Harkin to the extent that some are saying he saved them from relegation despite having no budget. Sounds positive.

  • Are you serious? The guy brought us some fucking brilliant moments  that we’ll never forget. Yeah, it didn’t end up great but ffs.

I haven’t stopped laughing. Nice bloke but smacks of what’s coming for them. Can’t wait

Proper football man. As a player and manager he was never the "nice bloke", knows his onions.

I want him to fail because he's at Ewood, hopefully he won't be there beyond Christmas and they'll get someone worse in.

From a Blackburn fan 🤣🤣IMG_4081.jpeg

Heart warming

Well if a Blackburn fan says Mowbray is worse than Coyle, he must be worse than Coyle 🤨

My best mate's a Blackburn fan. That view might not be representative. Him back and the purse strings loosened a bit will have them well clear of the relegation mire

He'll have died by Christmas.

Nothing's worse than Coyle

Thank you Frankie Boyle.

I hope we play these early.

Big fan of Mowbray the bloke (was one hell of an exciting Hibs team he managed in the mid 2000s) but Mowbray the modern era manager wouldn’t be what I’d want if I was a Rovers fan. Thankfully, I’m not.

So according to the BBC, Martin O’Neil will stay as Celtic manager for another year plus a further year option. How does that affect the position with Johnny Kenny I wonder?

There are, & have been in in every era, old-school managers who know how to organise & make the most of what they're given. Usually seen by that point as dinosaurs but know what they're doing.

I see Mowbray as one of those, though I'd fear for his health given what happened last year.

To see Blackburn fans dismissing him out of hand says more about them than about him.

He'll buy two more strikers before the window closes.

I'll admit I haven't been paying close attention, but is Mowbray really that bad?

He seems fairly solid, if unspectacular, to me

I hope so 😁

not a bad track record and plays some decent stuff

I’d be disappointed if we were to land him. He’s had his time and I think Blackburn will go this year.
