Obviously the money will be miles better but come on man. At least do a season. I hope Lincoln stay up and he gets sacked after 10 games the silly cunt. I hope Lincoln go down and Bristol City implode and also go down. I want everyone to go down apart from us Quote

Let's hope they don't realise/admit their mistake till at least Christmas. Skubala will be fine as long as they are in the top 8 and don't lose 3 on the trot. Todd-McFarland written all over it. Hopefully Quote

He probably realises you have to take opportunities when they arise. If Lincoln are bottom of the league at Christmas his reputation as a championship manager will be gone, possibly for good as he isn't a "name". He's striking while the iron's hot, and getting a gig at a club that could realistically aim for the play offs, on a big 3 year contract. Quote

Not saying no assistant manager has ever stepped up to be a manager, there will be exceptions. SS was assistant for a couple of years, then a manager. Cohen has been a coach or assistant manager for 6 years, Shaw for 10 years plus. That will be their natural level, they won't be managers anywhere never mind Lincoln in another year, IMO. If either was a natural manager, they wouldn't be joint managers, one would take the lead, as happened with Todd and McFarland eventually. Cohen was SS's assistant manager at Stoke, just found that out. Quote

Skubala never played professionally and his previous jobs have been a PE teacher, England futsal coach, Leeds U21s and Lincoln City. He might make more in a season at Bristol City than he has in his life to this point. Quote
