I am probably missing something but what's to stop somebody signing up for a season ticket in the next few days on direct debit -(first payment 3rd june)  and then we don't get promoted so the said person then cancels the d/d with the bank as doesnt want to go to league 1 games.

they do update it as I sent Oxford away back then decided to go week later and it let me
