noxid Posted May 20, 2024 Posted May 20, 2024 Not worried about Birmingham next season. They've been a shambles this season and I'm sure some of their best players will be on the move. Don't know much about Huddersfield or Rotherham but generally relegated teams have poor starts as they get used to their new surroundings. Quote

gonzo Posted May 20, 2024 Posted May 20, 2024 I think it's the other way. Having self belief would be trusting yourself to make the biggest of biggest calls. Making those key decisions at vital times when it's clear the opposition have you worked out. He doesn't trust himself to make fundamental changes and more importantly doesn't trust his players too. ErnestTurnip Posted May 20, 2024 Posted May 20, 2024 I've come to believe that his major problem is that he thinks he is far better than he actually is and because he doesn't recognise his limitations he can't do anything to fix them. Quote

They also don’t have any money to build with and are still facing EFL sanctions over their ownership. Posh likewise have lost Clarke and are expecting to sell at least two or three of their best players. Blackpool have lost two important loans in Rhodes and Dembeli so why would they be a threat? Wigan won’t be spending either so I’m not having all this negativity about next year, I still think we’ll be a big favourite for the automatics. Quote

There has to be a point where you have to accept that's just how they are. Playing silly buggers otherwise. Quote

Biggish Dave Posted May 20, 2024 Posted May 20, 2024 Brum will have a huge budget for the division. If they use it wisely, they'll go up. Using it wisely is the issue. Championship players don't want L1 football Quote
