posted last night, id be amazed if at least one of gale and forino aren't the best their countries can select

Burton did not play in last round of internationals so assume will be off.

just been looking at trains as usually drive but am finding drinking lots is more fun.

I think if the game is called off because either us or Huddersfield have players called up Huddersfield moves to Saturday. Not sure if it applies if Burtons many internationals is the issue.

my take

if we have 3 players off on duty, Burton is off and our trip to Huddersfield is on the Saturday

if Huddersfield have 3 players off on duty, their game v Luton is off, and our trip there be played on the Saturday

if both us and Huddersfield don't have 3 call ups, it's on the Thursday

and that would include if the Burton game got called off because they had 3 call ups and we only had 2

Don’t want to jinx it, but you’d have to think it’s fairly likely to end up that way considering it literally only needs one of us, Burton, Huddersfield or Luton to have three international call ups.

Not sure Luton or Burton affect it. That would mean our Saturday game was off but both us and Huddersfield would have full squads available.

I agree, we both played in last international break but there are more international games this time.

This is what the club released on 29 July - on same day Huddersfield also announced the date change but no mention of if there Saturday game is called off it will go back to the original date - and they are now selling tickets for the match

Huddersfield Town v Wanderers - Thursday 16th October, KO 8pm (Live on Sky Sports Football)

NOTE: Should Wanderers’ fixture at Burton Albion on 11th October be postponed for international call-ups, the game at Huddersfield will revert back to Saturday 18th October (KO 3pm).

As far as I can see, no games for Barbados (Gale) or St Lucia (Ferino) so Burton on the Saturday and Huddersfield on the Thursday by the looks of it?

having had a look, concacaf may well be but i can't see any games scheduled for either team

really does look a bit jumpers for goalposts apart from the major tournaments
