Maggie Tate Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 I've been on the phone to a wench this morning from Edinburgh, nice soft accent. It was aurally pleasing. Softly spoken women from the North east too, I went out with a bird for a while from up there and her accent never failed. I also for a while went out with a girl called Holly from Bournemouth who had the soft voice to go with her nice gentle accent, if you're reading this Holly love, I would happily crawl over broken glass to w??nk over your shadow. And a good Norn Iron accent is a cracker as well.

When i first met Jay he still had a South African accent even though he'd been back in England for 2/3 years. Gotta say it wasn't very nice, he sounded like some weirdo sex offender. Luckily my perserverance paid off, and ive managed to get some Bolton accent back into him!!

wovlad Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 Most of Scotland is pretty good, but a broad glasweigian on a lass, no. Reminds me of Mrs Rab C Nesbitt. Dubliners, damn fine. Northern Ireland ok as long as they don't sound like they work in the Belfast shipyards. Lets face its the Uk is pretty damn good when it comes to accents ok there are a few aborations like Scouse, Cockney and Brum but in the main. Must'nt grumble.

Yanks ( especially the nasal whiney ones ) / Scouse / Welsh Birds ( spit on me why don't u ? ) and aussie ( obnoxious slappers ) birds are rank ( and girls from burnley ).
