December 22, 200520 yr Although Wigan have beaten us in the Prem and Carling Cup, I too think hate is a strong emotion to show a team of 'pretenders.' As has been said, Wigan will always be primarily an egg-chasing town. The public of Wigan don't like football; hence the crowds they attract. Let Wiganers hate WAFC themselves, they're doing a good job up to now. When the rugby supporters eventually wise up to the fact that WAFC is more important to David Whelan than WRLFC then a bit of in-house bitterness might lead to self destruction. Bring it on!

December 22, 200520 yr Whenever I see or hear Wigan Athletic my immediate thought is of them playing Chorley in the Lancashire Combination and Lancashire Junior Cup Finals. Wigan once played Horwich RMI in the Lancashire Junior Cup Final at Victory Park Chorley. I think that was the largest crowd I have ever seen at Chorley.

December 22, 200520 yr Never had any reason to hate Wigan...always hated Utd, but more recently Citeh fans seem to be worse and they're fast approaching the top of the list. Wolves for obvious reasons and I used to hate Tranmere but can't be ??rsed now. The whinging Geordies are disliked as they're the numbest in the country.

December 22, 200520 yr Everton are by far the worst premiership club. Their fans are pathetic and complain about everything to the ref. Their must of been about 25 hand balls calls and not a single one was a hand ball. They are completly living off past glories and it annoys me further that players like james beattie choose to go their claiming that they are a big club. Now look were they are! When the fa deem their stadium unsuitable for english premiership standards they will be in so much debt for forking out for a new one then they wont be able to buy any new players and will eventually get relegated. Anyways ive had my rant.

My top five in no particular order (except Chelsea at the top): - Chelsea - They've always had a dormant support. Now they're doing well 10s of thousands of mouthy fans have suddenly crawled out of the woodwork claming to have followed them since they were a nipper cos they once saw a match in the 70's with a long lost uncle. Citeh =- bunch of inbred dole queue frequently pricks Wigan - joke. All of a sudden a group of lads in their late teens/ early 20s who have previously been indifferent and half followed the likes of Man U/Newcastle/Liverpool now claim to be fans because they are in the Prem. Munichs - only seem to muster the energy to talk about football when they are winning Hayes Town - something has gone sadly wrong with the gene pool with this lot!
