Freddie Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 BWFC just rang me up and informed me that i can only have 5 of the 8 tickets i had asked for, even though most of the [-X 8 of us have been to all away uefa matches,2 of the lads live and work in London and the other 1 who didnt get a ticket works off shore so arnt season ticket holders ,i tried to explain this to BWFC ticket office i also sent off all our vouchers for all the uefa games that we had been to,but this doesn,t count. If anybody from wanderers ways finds out that they cant go to Marseille and have a ticket please could they let me know so that i can find a good home for it.Once again BWFCs allocation methods are a shambles.. Casino Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 since we won't sell out, i'd suggest you ask em to put you at the front of the non STH queue
Guest Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 does this mean they have sold the allocation?? Were the eight all season ticket holders?
Casino Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 oh ye of little faith salford btw been on the phone to em for 20 minutes now to buy tickets for the home game its even stopped that comms shite and just gone to a basic ring about 5 minutes ago laughable
Guest Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 oh ye of little faith salford No Cass, I know you are always right It just seems odd that the ticket office would ring and say that rather than.... "we have allocated you 5 out of your 8 as 3 are not season ticket holders. What we have done is put the other 3 to the top of the pile if there are tickets that go on open sale. We will then relocate the 5 tickets already issued so they are sat next to these 3 additonal tickets and send them out to you all together, is this ok?" Apologies and fair play to the ticket office if this is what was said, and Freddie just over reacted having to wait for the additional three tickets

Freddie Posted January 30, 2006 Author Posted January 30, 2006 No over reaction im afraid BWFC informed me that tickets wouldnt reach open sle and if i re applied for tickets or waited for a while and try to purchase the tickets that were left over from season ticket applications there was no point due to the fact that all those that have allready applied and who are season ticket holders wouldnt get tickets due to small allocation,i was also told that undr no circumstances would we be getting any more tickets for the game ,something to do with the police not having enough men to cover any more away fans which is hard to believe seeing that the ground holds 60,000.
Carlos Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 My ticket didn't arrive this morning <insert gary neville smiley> I am really, really itching to boycott the Reebok, I probably will anyway, but this would be the icing on the cake.

Traf Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Sorry, but do you need to apply for these tickets?
Ani Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Sorry, but do you need to apply for these tickets? no i've applied for yours

I thought BWFC were a multi-million pound organisation who are heavily in debt and struggle to get fans attending home matches so would want to treat their customers correctly They must realise soon that although they will not lose their fans to another "supplier" like other business' do, their customers will eventually stop buying their product because of poor customer service (10,000 did on sat!). For such a well run club in other areas (on & off the pitch), I still dont understand how inteligent people at the club can contintiually overlook its focal point for its customer services! If you have a bad experience at the first point of contact, no matter what happens once you get past it, you only remember the bad experience. People may say they do a good job now and again, and occasionally get things right, so dont forget that - that doesnt wash with me! They are not providing a service unfunded like say the NHS or the Police, they are their to make money and too provide such poor service over all the years I have been supporting them is strange to say the least! (Why has so many CIO's over looked this area of the club?) Enough of "TO Bashing" from me - as its all been said before and you will be ulready sick of it!
Casino Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 open your pm sorry to those who will now shout
Ani Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 this is the secong thread i have put this on in last 2 minutes. but carlos has a valid point here, he has mentioned a few times we have a well paid communications bloke at the club. the messages are at best currently misleading. last week demand was low tickets in plentiful supply, now they are not going on open sale. FFS we deserve better than this.
Traf Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Sorry, but do you need to apply for these tickets? no i've applied for yours I know! And many thanks once again! I was just dangling some bait.
TravellingWanderer Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Gareth Moores is the one to write to with grievances about the ticket office, he will reply, but seems to now tend towards our experiences being rare and unusual, so if more pleople write he may get the message that the ticket office side of things is a shambles. Careful though when you write to complain, my brother complained the other week, my next ticket application was apparently lost.
Horwich Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Careful though when you write to complain, my brother complained the other week, my next ticket application was apparently lost. quality..they are like the FBI What you need to do is find someone who knows someone who sponsors the club or has a box etc. theres always tickets for them.

Freddie Posted January 31, 2006 Author Posted January 31, 2006 Zozzy, that wasnt very nice,my feelings are beyond hurt [-( [-( [-( .Normally though i would agree with you but sadly for me on this occasion one of the sothern softies is my brother!just got back from reebok as you now know and like i said yesterday the away leg is sold out,i asked how many tickets stayed internal but that was unknown to the man on the desk. When i said that i had allready booked flights and digs for 8 of us but only had 3 tickets he said that i should have waited for the tickets to arrive before booking anything!I then reminded him of Bulgaria and the shambles the ticket situation was then,no tickets till week of game,if i sound bitter its just that im pissed off for the lads without a ticket but still remain hopefull of people dropping out and us being able to get tickets.End of sermon :-#
Traf Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 Freddie, 1. The man on the desk is unlikely to tel you about the 500 tickets held back for staff and those travelling with TMG. 2. Just go anyway, you'll get in the away end. FACT
Freddie Posted January 31, 2006 Author Posted January 31, 2006 Traf, wild horses couldnt stop me going,i know the situation with tickets held back it just pisses me of that with BWFC nothing can ever be easy,Do you think they will have SUPERBOCK in france,ah what memories fust ask zozzy about portugal and our wonderfull hotel
