Without checking in a book I think we beat them 4-0 at home and lost away 2-0 or 2-1 on a friday night (maybe live on sky?)

yeah, away im sure it was 2-1, bolton had both ends behind goals and we were shouting "ATTACK ATTACK" for last 20 minutes!!!

2-1 away and i was sat down the side in the Bury end (cant remember y exactly) and battered them at home.

Remember a Bury fan jumping over the netting actually into the ESL. Not clever! Thrown straight back!!! :D/ =D>

For some reason I remember Neil Cox playing amajor part...did he score a goal or an own goal or somethin? mmm :-k

Bury away, Travis Bickle got bottled in the Pack Horse near Gigg Lane #-o

Your dates are a bit wrong here Northy!

Bury at home was 28/11/98 we won 4-0, Johansen and Gunnlaugsson both got 2.

Away game was 23/4/99 and Cox scored in a 2-1 defeat.

I remember these as the home game was my daughters 10th birthday and the away game was St,. Georges Day.

Remember my dad backing us to beat the bucket shakers 4-0 in the home game. BRILLIANT!

Arnee got 2, and smurfy got 2 I recall.

Lost 2-1 at Bury live on Friday night sky. Neil Cox scored a conselation in injury time, and Dean Kiely (playing one of his last ever games for Bury) got Man of the match.

And I didn't even google the Neil Cox thing =D>

I remembered due to the fact that I have the knowledge. :D

i dont remember a ragging thing :-s

remember the prick who tried to get in the ESL, took a load of windmill shots at a doper looking pisspot who;s name escapes me but went everywhere in the 90's and was always gary nevilleed, missed with every one, then got lobbed back out.

the away game was a heavy sesison for me and mrs smiffs, she was shitfaced and went through 40 bensons. little did we know she was 4 weeks pregnant :D.

in fact to complete the story, the 'mix was made' at about 6am on the day of sunlun away game a month followed by me wiping my nob on the curtains and f??ckin off to the north east on a bender.

I am one romantic f??cker me.

And got ??1500 compensation :D/

Is that the game where Dean Kiely saved a Cox penalty at Gigg?

You still got that picture of yourself Mr Casino, or have you destroyed it? Drunkard.

Loose lips :-$

and Kiily got coined?

At Portsmouth on Wednesday, the chant was "Stand up if you've shagged Kiely's wife".

i prefer 'andy todd has shagged your wife'

poor dean didn't like that one a few years back at the valley :D

i thought he was going to cry

And there was "Kiely's wife - always cheating"

oh yes, i remember that one too

meldrews lyrical juices were flowing that day ](*,)

i went to the 4-0 at home when they couldnt cope with Arnar and one of their fans invaded the pitch.

but watched the away game in a pub in Barking.

98/99 was a bad season in more ways than one...Utd treble,City play off win and our programmes were a4 in size which are a swine to store.

Theres was two bury fans who did it. Afer seeing the all round success of the first attack on the east stand lower another lad did the same about 5 minutes later with similar results. If only they'd got together a double attack and the esl would have been ran all over horwich

Andy Todd had a stinker that night!

He got beaten in the air for both of their goals

Seem to remember it was a chant of "we only laugh at bury" that kicked it off.

Totally outclassed them that day.
