changes for Brum away

reckon one or two changes needed

OBrien is looking jaded and I'd put Nicky Hunt in at right back

Diouf is a must

thing is though, who do you drop?

I'd probably have to say Nolan because he's been under par last two games, but that's not going to happen

you would have to drop one of Faye, Okocha or Speed and move Nolan back to midfield, of that lot you'd say Faye

I'd also be tempted to say Davies but with 4 goals in 6 he's doing his job very well at the minute

Don't think Hunt should start. I think yesterday was a one off for OBrien. It was almost like he was giving them too much respect - he looked apprehensive about going in for tackles. Pederson is too erratic as a left-back for me and Jaidi is turing out to be a bit of a liability recently.

O'B is looking shakey at times though so give hunt a chance!! maybe an away game is better for him without the pressure of the boo-brigade!

Diouf should start instead of Faye as we need to attack brum. nolan plays best from midfield anyway IMO!

Diouffy tore these fuckerrrs apart last season at their place! He will do it again! =D>

here is my tactically simple opnion.

go out and attack them, get anything early and they will fall to pieces.

sit back and defend and give them some confidence if they get a goal.

people talk about 6 pointers but if we go out and beat them Tuesday we will destroy their confidence for the run in and improve our chances of beating them at home.

so there are 6 points on this one, if you see what i mean.

yeah bang on an early goal for us, and it could our most comfortable away win ever

listening to sam's after-match interview he said a 0-0 would be like a win to him so i doubt it

sam wont change his tactics .

he has his game plan and he wont chant chat.

he wont go there attack mindedhes not that way inclined thats his downfall some times. #-o

:-k Borg??

He must make changes to shake things up a bit.

Option One

I'd say Hunt in for OB as the young lad is now looking a bit tired.

Diouf in for Speed with Nolan dropping back into midfield along side Okocha.

Diouf on one wing, Stelios on the other with Davies down the middle.

Options Two

It could be possible to play 4-4-2 against Brum though and really put them on the back foot. The other optional change could be to take Faye out and play the 'Borg' along side Davies. Diouf and Stelios can play the flanks supporting both full-backs and the front men.

Out of the two options I'd go for the latter, but knowing Sam and his sometimes 'negative' approach will go for option one.

Yes, but has to be given the chance to make his comeback !!

not 2 minutes at the end to try and save the day

How many other Premier League managers chant chat? Have I been missing something?

I suspect Sam will play Hunt and Jaidi, for OB and Bruno.

I'd rest Okocha for Diouf. Okocha may not be effective in a second game in three days and we need workrate and solidity against a poor but spirited team fighting for their lives. Also Faye and Jaidi would make us an even bigger threat on set pieces, and against Chelsea they looked vulnerable on these.

So

Jussi

Hunt TBH Jaidi Bruno

Faye Speed Nolan

Stelios Davies Diouf

You can edit your posts :D

Radical idea but...

Shit or bust. We are out of the running for a top 6 finish anyway:

Jussi

Hunt TBH Bruno Gardner (if fit)

Speed Nolan Okocha Stelios

Davies Borg

Subs

Walker

JO'B

Faye

Pedersen

Diouf

Joey is starting to tire, and who can blame him? Stick Hunt in for the rest of the season, on the understanding he's playing for his future.

Potato head said on GMR he wants to get back to clean sheets !!

Not heard that before. He said if that meant 0 - 0 then so be it.

Tactical genius......

Need to get a goal early to keep the locals quiet, go a goal behind and I think it will be a long night.

I fully agree that OB is showing signs of being tired. Not sure that Hunt should be playing for his future though as he would always be a good squad player.

Well, we need a proper right back and a back up left back next season.

If Nicky is going to be first choice then we can bring a cheaper player in, if not then we will have to bring a quality player in.

I think Allardyce will play an attacking side and try and get an early goal like we did at Boro.

The radio interview is just something else he has learnt from his friend Sir Awex.

brum are 2.60 on betfair for the win if anyones not feelin too confident...

Gardener meant to be back for tomorrow.

we should gor for the kill early on.

i think they will crumble if we get an early lead [-o<
