Guest McWalker Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 New to the forum and just interested in what you all believe to be the makings of the perfect BWFC fan ? Most Matches Attended ? Loudest ? maybe even fattest (Tony Kelly need not apply) Im more interested because ive just read the thread about Ruth Crawshaw. For those who dont know her Ruth is the grumpy, miserable, obnoxious old cow who it appears pops beach balls for fun, is a hanger on and whose scraggy wet wimp of a husband died "over 5 years ago" Just a note for Carlos though. Carlos, the FACUP wasnt when she started watching them, thats how long she has continually been watching them without missing a game. As you can see this is slightly turning into me "sticking up" for Ruth , but I believe rightly so , because after all, those that are throwing personal "slights " at her were all at the Kuntz stadium right ? Or maybe were in Bormio ? So what exactly is the perfect BWFC fan ? Ah, thats the one, its the fan that always has to single out one player or one person for that "special" treatment. I have it on good authority that Ruth is registered disabled but hey, lets face it, if you dont say "stand up if you hate manyoo" every few seconds, your just not loyal are you ?
Casino Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 I have it on good authority that Ruth is registered disabled but hey, lets face it, if you dont say "stand up if you hate manyoo" every few seconds, your just not loyal are you ? on good authority? seeing as you sit next to her most weeks, i'd expect you'd know, rather than have it on good authority and so what if she is did you ever report brixton to the programme collectors association :D/
Carlos Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 There is no such thing as a perfect fan, we each support Bolton in our own individual way. People who think they are above the rest of us just aren't. You can go to every game played, that just means you have more time and money than other folk. It's what's in your heart that counts. I have far more respect for people who just go to the games and don't make a song and dance about it than the hangers on. Sorry for having a pop but I always think that folk who stick their neck out and seek publicity are fair game. C'est la vie!
Carlos Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 did you ever report brixton to the programme collectors association :D/ That was very, very naughty. C??ntism of the highest order.

seasoned Traveller Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 My vote goes to Spazzy Darren or Florence Brandwood.
Carlos Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 for one it aint slagging a fellow fan off I know what you mean, but if someone is claiming to be our greatest supporter, most normal folk are just going to say "cock off". I can't see many people saying "aye, she is you know". We are all equal in my eyes.

Because she???s old and disabled it doesn???t mean she???s exempt from being criticised. She???s hardly the Queen Mum, gowd bless err. I've nothing against the old girl but all this devotion to BWFC points towards an unhealthy obsession. If she put that amount of time in to taking sick kids and one legged puppy???s to the match then fair enough. These Superfan things are a waste of time and they don???t make the applicants any better than me, or the fan who can???t afford to go to all the matches played this side of WW1.
andyacky Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 our greatest supporter is Nat lofthouse i cant think of anyone more devoted to the club
Bridgey Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 i agree we all love the club and that is good enough except the folks who leave with 10 minutes to go.
Supersyd Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 I went to the last programme fair at the Excel centre in October. Didn't give a sh*t about the 'fair' I Just wanted to flog ALL my programmes (or should I say ALL my Dads programmes - passed down to me etc etc) to pay towards Guimareas. To be fair she was the only one who offered me anything. Trouble was ??50 for over 300 decent programmes I thought was b*llocks. Yep she is a little obsessed but seems a decent lass. My programmes are still in the loft by the way. Any takers?
Carlos Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 our greatest supporter is Nat lofthouse i cant think of anyone more devoted to the club Agreed. Also one of the nicest blokes I've ever met.
Mounts Kipper Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 i find women with big feet, slightly disconcerting.
Guest The Special One Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 I'm the best supporter always there for the cause
Underpants Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 I'm the best supporter always there for the cause I agree. I bet Ruth hasn't got any tattoo's to show her devotion.
Sweep Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 I bet Ruth hasn't got any tattoo's to show her devotion. I'd heard she had a tattoo of "Lofty The Lion"on her inner thigh and the original BWFC badge on her left arse cheek Can anybody on here confirm if this is correct

I have it on good authority that Ruth is registered disabled but hey, lets face it, if you dont say "stand up if you hate manyoo" every few seconds, your just not loyal are you ? a classic two posts in one. first and last i hope !! what the fcuk has her disability to do with anything. or the death of her partner. my dads partner died nearly 25 years ago, he has brought up three kids. he is also disabled he has had a season ticket as long as i can remember. he is a member of gold line life line and every other thing you can be in. he has spent a fortune over the years buying the shite from the club shop and giving me as birthday/xmas/wedding/divorce presents. (single fathers like a bit of imagination. as a loyal disabled fan he got a ticket for cardiff on the third ragging tier. in all that time he has nt had anything off the club and has never asked for anything, he does nt go to away games anymore because he struggles when he has to walk a long way. he would n't claim to be better than anyone else.
Fengshui Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 I know Ruth and her family very well, have know em all my life. You obviously have no idea what you're talking about, so I wont slag you off.
Zico Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 perhaps we could make the perfect BWFC fan like they made the perfect women in weird science bags nailing her first
