Newcastle away is a pisser for me, my local match and changed to a Sunday. It's the Monday night games I hate (in fact all misweek, I have to drive but there is only 1 so won't complain.

scaz Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 The 5.15 kick offs can be good. Theres been some good atmospheres at the reebok for the late saturday kick offs Norwich was decent and Arsenal was one of the best nights we have had at the Reebok. portsmouth and birmingham was shite. [-( The spurs game should be a good one with it being the 1st game.

Mounts Kipper Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 MK, if you hadn't noticed: football's already dead. you might feel that way Traf, but i will keep going as long there is a game to watch, when were in the lower divisions football was truly dead, ok the crack was better and the camaraderie between players and fans was still there, but i went to many games at burnden when the football was unwatchable and i had to shout to speak to the nearest fan, for me the reebok is the future it is up to the fans to keep the flame burning as we did when the club nearly went bust, the challenge for fans now is to bring back the passion/atmosphere and feeling for the club, only the fans can bring this change about and it is as bigger task as hauling the club back from the depths of division four and financial ruin of the 80s, all the moaning and groaning about how it used to be is not going to help.
Traf Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 MK, chill, man. You know what I mean, we've spoken about it enough.

Guest TonyCee Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 That i didnt renew my s/ticket. As usual Sky fcuk the whole thing up. :D/ Neither did i. Totally agree with you. Put the money from those 5 games towards away trips. Proper fan or not i dont give a toss. Its about me and how i chose to spend my money. These people who honestly believe that they are contributing towards the club by s/t are deluded. By my calculations s/t sales will only pay for 2 players wages on 50k p/wk for a whole year. Whoopee. Oh and by the way if we do get to the FA Final etc i will get tickets through my business anyway.
