because whislt we were messing him about we would have had to pay his wages and no doubt a reasonably big "signing on fee" which had no doubt been agreed.

sorry to go off topic but it is a different 'bloke in the pub' every time and he is always right and he's usually sat at the bar, you've all seen him

From the Citeh fans I have spoken to I think Hamann has done himself a massive dis-service as everyone thinks he is out of order welching on his contract with us. Says a lot about the guys morals and general lack of intelligence.

I'm sure the ??30K per week he is no doubt earning will help him get over it though

Apparently in addition to the ??300k from Citeh, Big Nose paid us ??375k to break his contract. Not bad for 24hrs work !!

By coincidence he decided to accept the offer that was on the table after we got rid of greedy JayJay and then Hamann was sniffing round.

Sorry Zozzy but I really don't see the comparison. Campo was trying to get the best salary for himself as Bolton were trying to get Campo for the cheapest salary they could get away with thats how the game is played. Campo announced he wanted to play for Mallorca, Sam announced he needs to sign his contract soon or he will find a replacement. Same with Jussi same with JJ a couple of seasons back. Hamann signed a contract then welched on it none of the above did that.
