Campo

If there is a better midfeild player in the PL playing that role in front of the back four, then i have yet to see him. Absolute class! :good:

pub player 1st half.

world beater in the 2nd.

Agree with both of you. 1st half he had me heart in my mouth a few times (especially one back pass to Meite (I think) in the penalty area who was closed down and robbed). 2nd half he was superb. Just got to love the bloke though. Seems to love the club and that fooking Sideshow Bob haircut makes him one of the most recognisable players in the EPL.

Campo is a great player and a joy to watch (most of the time)

Have to say their was the same conversation on Talk sport last night and no one mentioned any bolton player which amazed me. Campo is class and along side the best professional the premier league has had in gary speed it makes him better both players are class. Just a pitty the are pushing the wrong side of thirty.

I have to put my hands up on this one, I just don't see it, his passing is average and he is a liability when he dwells on the ball. However, people who know more about the game than me think otherwise.

His composure is a double edged sword. When it goes wrong it looks terribly sloppy, but when it clicks he is a calming influence and gets us passing the ball.

He also has the best line in comedy fouls around.

Thought he was ok yesterday he was class against Liverpool still think he should be in the Spanish squad

MoTD2 were singing his praises last night. In fact, they had lots of good things to say about us.

I noticed that. What I don't understand though is why do they pick one of his not so good games to pick him out as being a class act.

campo is a class act, he could play in pink carpet slippers, thank fook Hamann when to city other wise we would have lost campo.

I know it's a long way from the away end at St James, but I thought Campo was quality in the 2nd half.

He actually did some sterling stuff in the first half too. I think the memory of a poor bwfc first half tarnished him with the rest.

i agree

his two or three overhit free kicks are being remembered

he was the one player we had who looked like a footballer first half

He's a cracking footballer, when he's not taking too long on the ball, that is.

Such a different player to the one we saw in his first season, used to scare me summat rotten then but now total class although he does take time to warm up. Was gobsmacked with the amount of praise on MOTD2, never really watched it before as I never bother with MOTD, esp the jug eared tosser and his boring house mates on MOTD1, MOTD2 is so superior and talk far more sense and does not have Lawrenson, Shearer droning on and on about nowt

I agree that in the 2nd half he was quality. But I can think of a lot of games in which he has played better.
