In fairness to MOTD2, they said that it was a joke that Nolan was sent off for apparently swearing at the ref, but Defoe stayed on the pitch after biting an opponent.

I made the same point about Diouf today and everyone agreed that a Spuds player will get away with it while Diouf would by now have been on FA Charges

I remember Mark Bosnich goose stepping across the pitch in a game against Spurs. He had the guts to call 6-0-6 that night and apologise, fair do's.
