Burndens Bogs Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 my Mrs is coming tonight. I was going to the football be it Valentines night or not, therefore if she wanted to be with me tonight it would have to be at the Reebok. COME ON YOU WHITES BRITAINS MOST ROMANTIC BLOKE ALERT :::::::::::::: spot on though hughesy imo.
Salford Trotter Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 are you sure aint football for blokes to have a few hours away from the missus, i know, i am a dinsoaur. Nah...I know she'll only come to the odd cup game so that's enough for me but there are enough women near me to suggest that the fan profile is very much different than it was even 10 years ago. I thought it would double up as a Valentine's treat but she's gone and booked for a top restuarant in Manchester on Saturday night "so we don't miss out on our romantic meal together"..aarrgghh

Cue the missus setting off on a rant about summert or other and me switching off. Her sisters fella is in Belgium watching Newcastle so they're having a girly night in to whinge about football and men etc!

Gumbo Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 I know my friends will be at the reebok tonight and will be in positive spirit so i found something else to think about, eg Bolton 8-1 Walsall regardless of the attendance tonight those inside the ground should do there upmost to cheer the whites on,
mickadoo Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 According to the Guardian it was 21,088. I think RayVon was probably closest with 21,169.
YATESY Posted February 16, 2007 Posted February 16, 2007 You mean like the Fulham game when someone said they couldn't get 3 seats together.Low and behold - did you see all the empty seats at the back of the South Stand. You could have had a whole row to yourself and still been 5 rows away from the next person. Ummm, read my post properly and you will see that is exactly what I said Mate of mine tried to buy 3 tickets for the Fulham game yesterday. The man at the ticket office told him that the only part of ground that had 3 seats together was the South Stand Upper
