hate to say it but the ref got most desicions right. apart from the first penalty.

i was very proud of how the team reacted to a superb arsenal first half, yes we rode our luck but it was a great game.

the commentators can not resist the cheap digs at bolton but towrads the end were giving us credit for how we played.

their second goal was top quality.

one of those days, as a bolton fan am used to seeing us lose but still feeling proud, these days we do nt lose as much as we used to but the feeling of pride is just the same.

i hope no one feels the need to pick holes in individual perfromances as the TEAM played well, arsenal were just better on the night.

hate to say this but good luck to them hope they get to the final and play united or chelsea.

Rightio, there's a few threads on here about last night. I was there and my take is this:

Arsenal deserved to win. They were quality - in particular Hleb, Clichy and Rosicky.

However, I'm not sure about this out-classing thing. At half time they seemed to be a yard quicker, in their minds and physically. But, they were a goal up when they started knocking it around really well and they didn't finish us of so what exactly was the point?

Their chances came from when we were chasing the game and leaving gaps at the back, but how many chances did we have - we hit the post, hit the bar, Almunia tipped one wide, Stelios dallied when 1-on-1, Anelka's volley over the bar etc.

I dunno what was commentated on TV, but I thought we gave them a real go - I know they were without Henry and Fabregas, but consider this - our players that were missing - Davies, Faye and even Hunt are arguably more important and more of a loss as we don't have the same quality replacements that they have...

Their players and supporters seemed extremely relieved after the game - it was like they's won the cup, which sums alot up for me. I think we can say we have finally arrived, in terms of getting the begrudging respect we've deserved for a couple of years now.

I thoroughly enjoyed the match and I'm not sure the ref did an awful lot wrong - I thought the linesmen were worse.

And whoever said we need a full ground for a good atmosphere - a decent away following and a reason for the crowd to get passionate was all it took last night.

The future is bright ladies and gentlemen...

Well said - about sums it up.

Open your eyes. We were completely outclassed last night. 6-1 would have been a fair result but because Arsenal were awful in front of goal we kept it to 3-1, and some of you are PROUD?

Can someone please point out what you are PROUD of because I don't get it.

Would we have done better if Dean Windass was playing 'Tash?

Like many I was proud of the team and even though we were lucky in terms of the open net and the penalties I can't help thinking how unlucky we were with some of the chances we made. We stood up to one of the best sides in europe and had a real good go at them and I think some of our passing and general play was outstanding. Anyone who says otherwise is being obscene

I'm only going to respond to your shite this once so make the most of it. F@ck off Natasha or whatever you want to call yourself and get a life.

You have a sad, sad life Natasha. If you are back Fcuk off ure a red ginger

Not sure who is the saddest here, IT for making another comeback or JJ for finding that great link in an old thread!!

Oh definitely me. ::::::::lol::::::::

3-1 hammering and some of you are proud.

We're a top 5 Premiership team girls and boys, not a struggling League 2 outfit. The Arsenal team that beat us are just ONE place above us in the league and we stuffed them not that many weeks ago. Yet you are still proud??

Only a Bolton fan could be proud of failure.

But they're one of the top teams in Europe, with a squad of 20-25 top class players.

You're talking like we should be ashamed at losing to such a good team <_<

dont bite

Nat, maybe it was our pre-match meal of stolen hotdogs that was to blame for our "inept" performance.....

By any chance have you gone without a good cocking recently, prompting your return to WW!

She'll be screaming for the Lillywhites if PNE get promoted.

Aye who did it support in Cardiff for the play off final?

Probalbly Preston then googled all the info and stats on Bolton with all the spare time it gets

and became a new age Bolton 'fan'

She's back in time to give a few thousand BJ's as promised. The retard returns.

Got up in the early hours and watched the game live on ESPN (muted!). Thought we were fukn excellent against a top class side, particularly considering the key injuries we had to cope with.

Natasha knows fook all about football - that is one thing that is certain.
