A contender for Bolton's player of the season and as played every minute of every leauge match this season - so an obvious stay you would think.

But one of the 'big clubs' Arsenal could well lose their keeper at the end of this season - and who would begrudge Jussi a move?

Al-Habsi may be a hidden gem - and we may not miss Jussi at all?

So if the money is right and a big club comes a knocking - should he......

Stay or Go?

Defo stay. He is one of the best shot stoppers in the league. Shame his distribution is wank.

if the money is good i would sell. more than ?5million though

Jussi to stay 100% defenatly, we would be lucky to be mid table without him this season fact !

stay, must be worth 8 points a season... but every man has a price- ?6m plus (which i cant see) then bye bye

from what ive seen of al habsi. we must keep jussi.

Stay!! As we have no replacement for him.

However if we could sell him for ?8 million and buy in Ben Foster I would be a happy man.

No one can disagree that he has done a wondreful job for us however as stated by others every players has there price.

Have we forgot his wank period before Easter!

Yes he has won us some good points this season but he has also cost us a few - Sheff Utd away for example!

He is a great shot stopper but crosses he is a 'stay-at-home' keeper. Take Saturday for example, a few keepers would have come for the cross on the third goal and clattered the smelly gypsy Reading tw?t, taking man and ball.

If a bid over ?4M comes in, then defo GO.

As for replacements, what has Ian Walker done wrong in the few games he played? Good short term answer and then we can groom Al Habsi or one of the youngsters.

sheff utd away, for example

go on, give me a few more, cos your argument is far from convincing

from what ive seen of al habsi. we must keep jussi.

Heard from a Middle East based White that Al Habsi is shite.

John Burridge has a soft spot for Bolton with good reason.

if we got ?5m+ i'd sell

keepers are much of a muchness for me, there's no real bad uns in the premier league and very few outstanding ones

Tough call.

If someone bangs in an offer of ?6m then maybe, cos we could unearth a good keeper for much less and use the money elsewhere.

BUT I'm a believer that when you've got a gem, don't be complacent, hang onto it. We've been blessed in the keeper dept since Felgate haven't we - maybe that's why we don't value Jussi like we should.

Do you think that's a modern trend? Less and less goalkeepers seem to be comfortable coming off their lines to take crosses. Even the so called good ones.

I really believe the standard of goalkeeping in this country has dropped remarkably since the 70s and 80s.

Having just turned 32, and being in some of his best form over the last 18 months to 2yrs i think we would be silly to sell him unless our hands was forced. For instance if the Arse came in with ?5 mil i'm pretty sure Jussi would want to go and the club would be put in a situation were couldn't really hang onto him. But for me why try and fix something that isn't broke, Jussi is a very good keeper and there are few better than him. Would we really need the ?5m or ?6m we would get for him? I agree that most keepers in the Prem are of a similar quality however a couple really stand out, and IMO Jussi is up their with the likes of Edwin cocknose and Cech.

And he's a damm sight better than Englands No 1, 2 & 3!!!

Think it's more that so many keepers are foreign and they are brought up to stay at home

They have to learn to deal with crosses here, some never really get the hang of it

Wanderers' keepers are coached to stay on their line and let the defence deal with crosses whenever is possible. This is the case right down to the junior sides.

I think the increasingly fly-away balls contribute to goalkeepers staying on their line. It's a big risk coming for a cross that could finish up just about anywhere.

Oh, and unless we're talking silly money, Jussi has to stay.

That said, I wouldn't begrudge the lad a big (non-Munich) move.

Keep Jussi at all cost imo

worth 12 - 15 points a season easy

anything over ?5M go, anything under stay

Keep Jussi at all cost imo

worth 12 - 15 points a season easy

Couldn't agree more.

We would not get a better keeper than Jussi
