I've seen the Whites relegated 7 times, so I've got my previous.

Haven't seen them live yet this season - complicated house move - but will be there next week.

Was feeling a bit worried, but still think there's several matches to go before we panic ........... then I saw LSL on MotD interview. Looked shell-shocked, unconvincing & the rest. Now I'm a bit more worried.

I hope he does too but I was worried after the West Ham press conference last season and got slagged off on here for saying it. Its not looking good Casino. I respect your views (you've had more than me) I'm not saying that for the sake of it.

Hope you are right but not so sure myself.

 

"Reverting" now could well be seen by the players as a sign of weakness, and also I think he geninuely believes in the beautiful passing game, it is what he was brought up with, and possibly all he is comfortable with. Unfortunately football is now dominated by strong powerful athletes, and we don't have the best players in the league, so we end up looking good in the non-business parts of the pitch only.

 

Also if, as is looking likely, we are in for a relegation struggle, then we need a strong experienced manager, who can hack the pressure. Not LSL.

 

My head is telling me give him a good run to get things right, but every instinct is telling me that will lead to disaster - if you consider relegation disaster. Only winning the next two home games, with a clean sheet in there will provide any real faith.

Well said, I wonder how many posters on here have actually experienced Wanderers full up and down history over the last 30 years. As a season ticket kid in 1980 I didn't see the car crash coming. I'm not saying we'll drop so dramatically now but having experienced my team freefall then I have every right to express a concern that even so early on in the season is so blatantly apparent. Its that frustration that drives I and probably many other true wanderers fans emotions at the moment .....

One thing I have learned is that your sort of fooking whingeing and moaning expressed at the stadium rubs off on the players and affects morale. This can't help results. As I have said all along, I don't believe we should judge anything until we are 10 games in.

 

It won't happen but if we could get a 'blind faith' loud crowd for a few games, I believe it would help turn this around. That and a competent central defender to pair up with Meite. Andy O'B?

It's right what you, Bolty, and others are saying, myself included, but we have far too many younger end supporters who have only ever seen BWFC under FSA, thay are finding it difficult to support a new manager, coupled with their inability to think for themselves they are jumping on the 'Lee out' bandwagon,

"Sort of foooking whinging and moaning" is what I express here on 'WWAYS' not at the Reebok. If a 'blind faith' as you put it, crowd, could swing our fortunes then I would be first in the queue before yourself. We are better supported now then in the 1970's but the way the stadium and placement of fans was conceived in transition has nullified the 'loudness' you desire. The only time we come anywhere near the Burnden Roar is when the Scum turn up and that is usually brought to an abrupt halt the moment their first killer goal goes in.

 

Bolty, like yourself, I have been passionately fcuked off down to our start this season. To make some sort of honest stand I will not post another message on this site until after 10 games (Arsenal 20th October). If by then our situation remains the same I will not shut the fcuk up in biggest of senses !!!!!!!! See you then .... I wonder if any other of my fellow whingers can hold out that long ?

The only time we come anywhere near the Burnden Roar is when the Scum turn up and that is usually brought to an abrupt halt the moment their first killer goal goes in.

 

Or last year 24 hours before kick off when FSA said in the media that we couldn't compete with United and Rooney was too good for us to handle.

If I'd changed everything and the results nosedived I'd fully expect people to question if I knew what the f?ck I was doing.

Being a coach I thought you may have some concept of this but obviously not

 

It's likely that he's thinking of nothing but our defending - sometimes it's best to keep those thoughts "in-house" though.

 

As for not wanting to change things - we've done nothing but change in the last 3 games - jesus wept! Stability is what we require.

Nolan as been out of position 3 times!! Vaz Te was only subbed/left out through injury. Faye left out coz we are selling him!! McCann left out through injury! We are still starting with 442 and getting picked off with ease!! We are shaky at set pieces. But i suppose we should all be happy coz we are not going to places getting 10 men behind the ball playing at the percentages and stealing games 1-0 and being the most hated team in the prem. Funny we did all this under Todd twice pretty sure there wasnt a Bolton fan who didnt want him sacking could be wrong though.

He didn't sort it out last season or the season before. It was sheer luck and the f?ck ups of the teams around that we got in to UEFA this year.
