statements like that really make any futures opinions null and void.

That obviously puts you in the category of the type of person who know's everything about the club, i feel sorry for you.

And why do you feel sorry for him then?

You wish to start a demonstration but not quite sure who you are demonstrating about? Hmm...

Should we call ourselves 'The People's Popular Front of Bolton', or the 'Boltonian Front', or what about the Boltonian People's Popular Front'?

If you look back to my original post, I was merely enquiring to see if anyone thought a demo would ever happen? And even went on to say I didn't think it would happen. This was purely a round about way of finding out how much people actually cared about the possibility of losing 2 of our best players, demonstrations are one way of showing this.

if they do go can you see any sort of demonstration outside the Reebok? Personally I can't, however would like to see something like that happen to voice our opinion

:nea:

Demonstrations are pointless and the domain of the great unwashed. No, thanks.

i wash every day, but i'm game if any one else is

or i could just put a message on here and hope some other fu**er gets of his arse and does summat

The last time i demonstrated about BWFC was after the 1-4 defeat to Bristol City at Burnden. The performance was so bad that the crowd started chanting 'There's only one player trying!' That player was Warren Joyce. THAT'S how bad it was! Anyway a couple of hundred supporters sat in the car park chanting 'Sack the board', while the old bill stood there counting their overtime pay. Then i had to go home for my tea.

I was at that match i remember a double decker bus with an advert for Warburtons bread went passed and every one was looking for a brick to throw at it ........oh happy days

Joycie!!...Happy days! Did he only get in the team because of his dad. OR where we a trifle hard on him.

Think my last demo was at Burden when we drew with Aldershot and got relegated.

Couldnt bring myself to boycot warbies bread, loved the milk roll butties too much

The only way to prove a point would be for no one to go to one of the Cup ties, probably the League Cup but then if we get drawn away it rules that one out.

If Anelka and Diouf are sold, I think I will be going less frequently, still debating whether to bother with Saturday.

Personally I think Diouf and Anelka and maybe even Jussi will be sold on the 31st August then they can use the argument that they had no time to buy replacements.

Won't work. we try it every year.

Yeah. Splitters. Splitters...

I agree there. We will do everything we can not to make any signings should we cash in on our prize assets

why?

why in gods name would we do that?

Maybe it was more of a late supper. On a serious note, if anyone wants to join me, I'll be stood outside the ESL with my "Neal out" banner 2hrs before kick off.

happy to become a nothing club once more.

We will never be a nothing club. Not even in Division 4. The people who frequent this site are enough proof of that.

For the record the club is bigger than any player and I will still go watching whatever.

Well said, that man.

I remember that night, wound up in the King Bill afterwards. Mcgovern did wind up leaving and the board appointed Charlie Wright for the rest of the season.

who went to the McFarland out demo in Jan 96? (or it might've been Dec 95) (either or we lost and Noel Whelan scored against us)

I were there

highlight was my bro who started rendition of

"who's the fattest bastard in coventry, it's you ron ron ron, it's you ron ron"

when atkinson boarded the coventry team coach

demonstrations are one way of showing this.

I think you might be looking under 'R' in the Yellow Pages mate. Rent a crowd. There's a lot of professional agitators out there, a large proportion with matted, nit-ridden dreadlocks, travelling the country in 1950's charabancs. Tell em Gartys not green and refuses to become carbon neutral. You'll probably get thousands o the fookers turning up (once they've stopped fooking about at Heathrow). You could be their next gig.
