Things have certainly gone backwards, which after Sammy Lee is no bad thing!!

Sunday i am sure we will get it. I feel sorry for Sammy. I thought he was doing ok, trying to change the drab football. Was hard with the players not taking to him, and results do speak for themselves. Still not sure Gary is the right man, but can't grumble at what he has done thus far. You will owe PG an apology
itk_FACT Posted November 8, 2007 Posted November 8, 2007 drab football doesn't matter when you're the underdog by quite some way. as we were tonight, and in our first couple of seasons in the prem. in the last couple of seasons fans would have grumbled about a dismal 1-0 win against 'boro. but as we're in the bottom 3 - bring it on!!! the midfield actually seemed a bit more athletic / dyanmic tonight thank goodness. maybe it was braaten who made the difference; maybe it was only playing the 1 of the nolan, speed, mccann, campo quartet...

We haven't won a game under his managership and I can't see one around the corner, we have been dumped out of one cup competition already, and we are half way to being dumped out of this cup as well (with the bottom 2 in the group going out) after Megson has managed to scrape us to only 2 points from 2 games. We are never going to compete in the Uefa cup ever again because Big Sam has gone. Sammy Lee got us to the group stages.

I hope zozzy is tongue in cheek, but I completely agree with exiled girl and in retrospect if Lee had been sacked earlier we would have got 3 points at Derby and already been out of the bottom 3.

I was just seeing what reaction I would get from such a negative post 2 days after one of the best results in Bolton's history, but I can't keep up the pretence. I am a supporter of Megson's appointment and of Gartside. I also agree with EG.
