Wow? After 11 steins of that German beer I was left with a fooked up head, a fooked up voice and a fooked up body, but well worth that trip.

Agreed, what a night!

Head was rattling last night never mind this morning when I woke up for work at 6.30am! Think I rugby tackled a few people when we scored our second, apologies for any broken ribs out there.

Very proud of the players, well done boys!! Must win Sunday =D>

Never saw any, just plenty of pissed up people having a good time!

That experience is up there if not surpassing all the greats from the past such as Hull, Liverpool, Man U, Reading, Wolves etc. Absolutely Loved every minute of it :drinks:

Patience Jumbo, the massed ranks of Wanderersways are in the main either still out here in Munich or only just on the way back

just home,

completely knackered

What a 3 days that was, no trouble, top laugh, AMAZING game, awesome.

Believe me the wanderers hit munich yesterday in a big way. The train to and from the ground was particularly funny.

The boys did us proud, Megson done good, the best ever result for Bolton in Europe, lets have some more of the same passion on sunday.

Im going bed now..

gaz

been home half hour.cant even think straight but im off to Wigan tonight to rub it in.

will collect my thoughts and post sometime over the weekend.

Good trip top result :yahoo: :drinks: shitter traveling back today though

Just a couple of negatives:

1) people singing the German Bombers songs - idiots.

2) the insipid Ron Manager types who feel the need to tell the players what they should be doing/slag them off for 90 minute, we are Bolton Wanderers playing Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena in the UEFA Cup - if could can't enjoy that, I pity you.

I am currently sat in Zurich Airport, flight not til the morning......it has been a very long few days.

Great performance (even the 2nd half when we hardly touched the ball), great trip and a superb noisy following.

Those huuuuuuge German pint efforts are enough to get anyone leathered :drinks:

Proud to be a wanderer :yahoo:

Speaking of songs - I am in the posh bit of the airport at the moment in the lounge - All's you can here is Bolton singing :yahoo: =D>

To be honest, the German people and even the police thought the song was amusing. Having a German A level I spoke to a few who admittedly said " you english no matter where and when there is contact with any German people the war is almost a certain topic" I have to agree, but it was funny.

As a regular visitor to our Frankfurt factory and having done the world cup last year, I can tell you the Germans actually sing the 10 German Bombers song to us! They think it's funny! They also sing 'We scored the last goal at Wembley' to the Guantanamera tune (or whatever it's called).

I'm with Carlos if for no other reason than it's old hat. I don't think a lot of Germans are offended by it though.

I thought the tired old adapted England song of "Ten German bombers" was a fookin embarrasment.

Got back early hours and straight to bed. Woke up at 3.45 this afternoon after a nice 12 hour kip and struggled to move or talk.

Cracking time yesterday and a day I'll never forget. Bumped into a few of the players outside the city hall around midday and later saw Stelios wandering the streets on his own, the little guy thought he'd be polite and ask we were doing.

Went into Augustiner soon after and as the afternoon went on the atmosphere got better and better. A few German's around but no bother whatsoever.

Brilliant result, most of us didn't expect anything (including me), which makes it even better. Smiles all round! :yahoo:
