Just had a text to say the Derby game has been put back to Wed night 2nd Jan because of sky

Can anyone confirm this, i work away from home so i don't see the local papers or news

What a load of ball0cks if it has, this means apart from this saturday we've no home games over xmas and new year.

Now then - leaving Euro Disney Wednesday morning - how early do we have to leave to be back for the game? I suppose we gain the hour when driving back through the tunnel, so 3 hours in France, 1 hour to get through the tunnel, less the hour time difference and then 5 hours to get home?

 

Might even be able to allow the kids a toilet break!!

just wondering if anyone at the club will look at our xmas fixtures and wonder why crowds are down ?

 

we are at home on the saturday before xmas (traditioanlly a day for low crowds, for all clubs even those playing at burnden park)

 

and then at home for a night game that is live on telly against the bottom of the league on what will be for a lot of people the first day back to work with a full working day to follow.

They don't give a flying fook about us and it's about time people realised that, i thought the club were trying to encourage the next generation of supporter, at this rate all games will be played in empty stadiums but the clubs won't mind because they generate more money through the media. It's great following a club with loads of ambition it makes all the away trips home and abroad worth while

I did that Preston middayer a few years back, never again

 

not the clubs fault really, I've never seen why a team should get 2 home fixtures between christmas and new year, though more often than not over the years we get boxing day at home

Some love the club so much that they won't criticize it whatever it does.Empty ?39 seats are the fault of the fickle fans not the ticket price setters.

 

but others will critizize the club when they reduce tickets to the lowest price possible.

 

?39 tickets are fooking ridiculous but thats only 1/4 of the ground for 4 matches a season, Derby will not be ?39 but it'll still be empty.

 

if ?25 is a reasonable price for premier league footy as has been stated by many on here what's wrong witht the prices for the derby game?

I have a funny feeling the Bolton public won't view ?21 - ?29 for a Wednesday night match on Sky as a bargain.With it being the only home game of the holiday period,i would expect it to scrape over 20,000 though.

 

if the 21s dont sell out, its not 29 thats seen as not being a bargain

I disagree with that.I had a season ticket in the ESL the first season at the Reebok and didn't like the view to the extent that i haven't been in the lower tiers since,the only exceptions were for reserve games when the WSL was the only place to sit.

 

If other people don't like the view in the lower tiers and would only consider the upper tiers,?29 is the price they have to pay which isn't a bargain.As the only home fixture in the holiday period,i think more people than normal will pay it though.
