Hidetoshi Nakata is heading a japanese consortium to buy italian club perugia who play in Seria C division. If he has that sort of connections he could have bought Bolton and be rid of Gartside and Davies for good!

Can you think of a more stupid question?

Here's a contender:

"Did he have a blindfold on or has he had another frontal lobotomy?"

You're right.

Surely you can only have a frontal lobotomy done once.

That Eddie Davies can bugger off, ploughing all that money into the club, who does he think he is?

Not sure that's the right expression, Whitesman. I think he saved the club by guaranteeing its debts, but that he expects the club to be self-financing. Rumour had it he put up the money for Anelka, but I assume he'll want it back.

So no Jack Walker or Roman Abramovitch, I'm afraid.

Unless someone knows the real financial score at the Reebok ............

You're right.

You can have a frontal lobotomy done as many times as you like but at some point I suppose it becomes a backal lobotomy.

Well I've just paid good money for my fifth, so if you're right I'll be seeking compo.

It's not a question.

I may be stupid, but I did pick up on that!!!

I suppose a serious answer would be he has a lot more affinity with Perugia and Italian football in general. Perugia were the side that took him to Italy in 1998 where he played under 2 seasons. He remained in Italian football until his 2005 loan spell at Bolton.

I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy - Tom Waites

At the end of the day he has connections and he has money. Gauranteeing our debts isn't going to keep us in the prem. There's also a billionaire floating around whoose interested in buying a football club. I want investment in the club, I couldn't care less where the money comes from or what team that investor really supports. If you guys want capacity crowds at the Reebok then seriuos money has to be spent. If you want us to stay up then seriuos money has to be spent.
