Sing Your Hearts Out For The Lads!

Posted on: Fri 18 Jan 2008

The Debt Matters North Stand has been set aside as a dedicated singing section for the UEFA Cup tie against Atletico Madrid on February 14th, with supporters wishing to express their vocal support, being urged to purchase their tickets in this area of the Reebok Stadium.

Commenting on the decision Commercial Director Gareth Moores said: "We've had a large number of calls and emails from fans asking us to consider providing such an area. As a result, the Club has responded by allocating the Debt Matters North Stand as a trial for this crucial European fixture.

"It is going to be one of the biggest games in the Club's history and having a singing section can only add to the atmosphere

"With fantastic value for money ticket prices, ticketing prices we are expecting a big crowd and the game represents the perfect opportunity to trial this new initiative which to date has received the full backing of supporters."

If the move is successful then the Club will consider dedicating this stand as the singing section from the start of the 2008/09 season.

Nail on the head :good: :good:

BWFC: See there will not be any moaning about people being stood up or swearing as they know in advance and can sit in any of the other three stands :yahoo:

Get the f?ck in there, lets raise the roof !!!

absolutely superb to all concerened Bobbers will be there...

interesting it is the whole of the North stand...not just the lower!!

That is the first stage, now lets fill it and then put serious pressure on for a marquee behind this stand where fans can have a drink and build the atmosphere, well done to all who lobbied the club to make this decision, let us not forget the Fulham game, if any one fancies a trial run.

p.s.I think this shows the power of this website and the pressure the people of here can exert within the club, we should continue to gently exert more pressure to change what is wrong down at the reebok.

They'll probably keep the upper shut unless there's a good demand for tickets.

Lots of empty seats in Block P for you guys to sit on (or stand) :D .
