January 19, 200818 yr Any point away from home is a good point, we still lack something forward but a solid defensive display today. Steinsson was particularly impressive IMO. Here is what the best fans in the country had to say on the matter I didnt want him, and hes not up to the job, Poor performance today, nothings changed, still rubbish.I dont want him and many fans will surely see the light once you realise he wont win us anything.
January 19, 200818 yr I thought with all the shite hype we'd get turned over, so a good point. As the game went on I thought we could sneak and nearly did. GOOD POINT, onwards and upwards. Main thing, C86 Jnr is happy
January 19, 200818 yr A good point I say. Newcastle really pushed in the 2nd half and we were solid defensively. Its obvious that we need a striker though. I think oonce we get a striker we should be fine.
January 19, 200818 yr three points lost lets not get greedy, i'll be happy to take a point from all our away games we've had to change how we play, happy with a clean sheet (albeit against a side who can score), we looked sturdy, can now move onwards and upwards
January 19, 200818 yr was very similar to last sunday, a battling display devoid of any quality in their half i made gardner - written off by some retards after last week - motm the icelandic guy did fine, taylor isn't fit, yet all in all, good point, jussi didn't make a save, samuel should have won it
January 19, 200818 yr good point and a hardworking performance from the team. got to be happy with that after all the sh1te of the last few days. how kev nolan got away with telling the ref to fcuk off in the first half is a mystery. stevie wonder would have lip read that.

January 19, 200818 yr A good point today, the players worked their socks off and got stuck in well. However we are lacking some creativity and prowess in the last 3rd. Shame JLS didnt put it in the net
January 19, 200818 yr Good point considering we have little to offer going forward at the moment. A least we look disciplined at the back now! Highlighted the need to sign a goalscorer though! A creative midfielder would be good too!!
January 19, 200818 yr Lets us look on the positive, a solid display gives us a platform which hopefuly will lead to a little more in the opponents half.
January 19, 200818 yr three points lost 2 points dropped but i agree with you. Even with the Keagan factor behind them they were average at best, we looked comfortable. If we had someone like Anelka up front I think we would have won.

January 19, 200818 yr A good point. No matter how poor they were, we have been sh1te away from home and they were confident with the new manager. We looked solid at the back, Steinssen looked very good to me, very solid and can kick a ball down the line without it going out. McCann played better than he has done, and Nolan showed once again that he is Bolton through and through (standing on the touchline when he was subbed giving orders like a manager) Like others have said, a goalscorer and maybe a creative midfielder in and we will be easily mid table again. As for JLS I thought it was more of a very good save than a bad miss.
January 19, 200818 yr Happy with today's point. Anelka would not have scored today: we created very little in the way of clear chances. It was a shame that JLS couldn't spoil the Messiah's homecoming, but onwards and upwards from here. PS Cassie, great last ditch tackle from the Reggae Boy, but not a MOTM performance, his passing was woeful again.

January 19, 200818 yr i knew you'd have something to say Wouldn't want to disappoint. RG played well enough, but he really does need to work on his passing. Even his biggest fan (ie you or his mum) can see that.
January 19, 200818 yr An excellent point away from home, especially considering the "new manager syndrome" and a clean sheet. First job was to deflate the barcodes and see if we could nick it , which we nearly did. Davies needs someone to at least get along side him for the high balls. But some of Megsons tactics and substitutions are still strange to me. All said and done I am celebrating tonight.
A good point or a good chance missed to get 3?
