Bridger Posted January 27, 2008 Posted January 27, 2008 Was it a lie in late December when Messrs Megson and Gartside said if Anelka is sold we have a contingency plan in place, quoted more than once in the BN, today is the 27th cutting it fine i feel. Would people be suprised if the spending stopped here with just the proffit from the Anelka sale being spent. Going to be a interesting couple of days.

But we want no excuses about players being unavailable in the January window either. They'll now go to shitty old PSG in the last sixteen. Before that, though, they face a top-of-the-table clash against the might of l'ESTAC on Friday night.
