Personally I flit between the two accordingly and am normally positive. However, the last few games (Newcastle apart as that was a job very well done) have been poor and to not get another attractive striking option is annoying

 

I think the frustrating bit is those on either side of the coin that appear blind to any change in the situation. But that's opinions I guess.

people say we are already relegated, I would say we are in a bit of trouble but far from relegated, 2 teams are down already that leaves 1 spot, in the mix are Sunderland 23pts gd -18, bolton 22pts - 10, reading 22 -20, brum 20 -13, our goal difference could be a big factor as the season develops, also we must bear in mind our terrible start to the seaon, since then our form has been better than all the teams in the mix with us, O.K. we have lost our main goal threat, but it is just as Important not to concede goals and we have definitely strengthened the rest of our team steinson looks excellent, Taylor has the best left foot I have seen at Bolton for a long time and when he gets fit I think he will be a class act, although I have not seen much of Cahill, all reports and comments from Fans at Villa lead me to believe he is a very good addition, with the return of Diouf and the return to fitness of Vaz te(who should be given a chance along side Davies up the middle and not on the wing) and 2 other options in helguson and Rasiak we have more options than for a long time, add to the mix Megson has at last put Andranik in the squad who will score goals if gven chances,I feel quietly confident we will get out of this.

We are not in anywhere near as much trouble as people would have you believe. I am not disillusioned, just optimistic. Whats the point in being pesamistic, it doesn't make you feel any better.

Bobcat and others need to realise that most of the positive folk on here do criticise the club from time to time (the Megson appointment in my case). The moaning feckers never say owt positive. That's the difference.

 

The part I really have a problem with is the 'we're fcuked; we're finished' brigade. FFS get a grip. We weren't finished when were in divisions 2,3 and 4 and we fooking well ain't now.

 

Can't be arsed trawling back through threads but a pound to a pinch of sh1t says that many of the moaning coonts were moaning coonts under Allardyce when we hit the dizzy heights. I would also wager many of them are in the 'good to be rid of potato head' posse.
