The first one looks semi bad, the second one, his foot isn't touching his leg. Career over. Awful

Cisse recovered from 2 of those.

Not sure it was quite the same.

Bones heal better than the joints.

Have to wait and see. Looks a real bad one

That just looks like his foot insnt connected to his leg.

It just being held there by his sock.

The players reactions to those weren't quite the same though.

to be fair to taylor - in light if wengers comments - nobody could intend that outcome

seen it a couple of times and theres no intent there, just a late tackle the kind that happens week in week out

as it has been took off youtube, and is not yet being shown on the box.

you will get an idea here.....

Real time video of the tackle

No replays though, heard Sky didn't show any because it was that bad. The pictures are horrible.

Get the magic sponge out....!

No in all seriousness not good as the last thing we want is the scum winning the title

The last thing?

Really?

I'd say us getting relegated would hurt me more.

who gives a fcuk?

Not pretty but I don't think there was any malice in the tackle. Pity it couldn't happen to Ronaldo though!

From pictures I have seen of it - both of Taylors feet are off the ground. He's a big lad carry plenty of weight.

Eduardo has one foot of the ground, therefore all of his weight is pushing that foot into the turf.

I'll be amazed if the lad plays again. As for Taylor.... not for me to make judgement on what he was intent on doing at the moment, but it was a poor challenge and he'd be well advised to avoid holidays to Croatia.

Let's not forget that Diouf made an equally shocking challenge at Anfield and got away with it.

exactly it's one of those tackles that pundits and commentators say 'could be nasty' they happen every week, both of Reids meaty tackles yesterday could've had the same result, just bad luck for Taylor and more importantly Eduardo.

i've seen worse

why the fcuk was gallas crying at the end? real inspirational leadership

Reids meaty tackle.

Homo alert

How can anyone wish having an injury lijke that against someone

That tackle was not as bad as that Crouch one from earlier this season, nor the Gerrard one on I think George Boateng a while ago. Those pictures aren't as bad as the Dave Buust ones either and they were published everywhere. And the Alan Smith one. Mind you, the Leigh Reporter wouldn't put ones of my dislocated knee in in January 06 because they were too distressing. 'You're f?ckin right it was distressing,' I said.

A bad injury, overall, doesn't necessarily tally with how bad the tackle is. Boateng never got so much as a scratch but that was probably the worst challenge I've ever seen. Gerrard's a c?nt, isn't he really.

Despite the fact I've written at length on the urgent need for all footballers to be cattle prodded into the sea I hope the lad recovers OK. Many footballers do deserve horrific injuries but there is no reason to suggest Eduardo is of their number. Innocent till proven guilty and all that.

Homo alert

Dammit thats twice i've been outed today, although shouldn't that homo alert be in Hi-vis orange!
