The Bolton boss described the treatment of some fans at the last two away games - in Belgrade and Madrid - as "bang out of order" and is hoping there will be no repeat when they travel to Portugal to play Sporting Lisbon in a fortnight. He conceded that while players do not have first-hand experience of some of the hardship supporters face on their trips abroad, they still appreciate the lengths they go to in support of their team. advertisement "We realise the supporters spend their own money to get there," Megson said. "They don't fly in the same aircraft we do, they don't stay in the hotels we do, but any of these players, if they were going on holiday, would expect to be treated right and supporters should be treated right. "When you look at some of the things that happen, I'm sure players don't realise the way that it is. "I went to watch a game abroad a couple of weeks back and you get frisked before you go in. We never see that, but supporters are suffering that. "The things that have happened in the last two European games have been completely out of order."
