So, she's not cleaned under the beds for 3 weeks

Mucky cow.

This story hads really saddened me and we've just been talking about it at work.

This really seems to be a sad indictment of our society if the girl would sooner live under the bed like some Borrower than with that woman who calls herself a mother and the other umpteen kids (plus a step father who gets interviewed whilst on the sofa he's probably not left for weeks in a baseball cap). Oh ,and the real father who's not seen his little girl since some time last Summer. I might be being judgmental & I take no joy in it, but fear I am actually proven right when all the facts come out.

i've read conflicting reports, some saying under her grandmothers bed, some saying a flat owned by some guy with kids in care...

at least she is safe, i just hope she is ok... without casting dispersions, she doesnt seem to have a stable home

On BBC News 24 they neighbourhood popping the bubbly, CAVA.....

At least the girl has been found and hopefully is ok.

And thats the main thing.

There is however often a common denominator in such episodes.

DOBBERS!They look like something off Johnny Fold.No wonder the kid did one.

I can understand their relief, but queing up to do 'celebrity' interviews on Sky News then stormin bargain booze and getting smashed at a street party, whilst the poor lass is in God knows what state and still being councilled by the police says a lot.

poor kid

sooner any old fcuker aint allowed to have kids the better

However

The McGann's were civil, well dressed and articulate and they ended up suspects

This other lot drank Cava, wore baseball hats, spoke in grunts and they got their daughter back with minimum fuss

Surely it's not a coincidence.

I shouldn't laugh........ :::::lol:::::

Maggie, I think the difference is one's been taken by an international nonce ring, the other taken by the village idiot.

On a more serious note though it's very interesting how in comparative terms no-one gave a f?ck about Shannon, but Madeline spent 5 months on the front of the papers.

There must be loads of kids who've been missing for years wo would have loved a fraction of the coverage the McCann's have had. That level of attention should be the rule, not the exception.

Very strange indeed.

Maddy was a prettier child according to the press, not a munter.

Her parents were middle class, not non-working class.

They holidayed in a villa in Portugal, not a caravan in Filey.

They knew how to manipulate the media, as opposed to being inarticulate.

They're happily married, as opposed to having loads of kids to different dads.

That's why the publicity levels were different, it doesn't make it right.

I agree with everything there traf, the media like to build people up and knock em down. Cant knock down the dregs of society as theyre as low as theyre gettin!

The West Yorkshire Police tried up the publicity & get a televised plea from a member of the family but couldn't find one up to the job, that's in the broadsheets today.

From what I witnessed on sky news and the bbc on friday calling them working class would be an insult to a different bygone generation. How can we as a nation see that and not be embarrassed? Trackie wearing munters and chavs, who can barely commnicate with anyone outside their locality, surviving on handouts, takeaways, micro chips, pizzas and bargain booze. They should be steralised and put to work picking up litter and shit to earn their handouts.

Read it again then.

I called them the non-working class.

So you did. :good: my error,.

Yes, so the mother deserved the anguish of having her child disappear, did she?

Yes, so the mother deserved the anguish of having her child disappear, did she?

No one deserves anything like that, I think the debate has moved on as to why she has so many by different fathers and why its accepted that she can choose to do this and expect everyone else to pay for it. But I think you knew that!!!!
