Was gonna for zenit, then thought maybe draw, then realised it had kicked off so didnt bother.

 

They are on fire though at the moment, iv got a bit of a soft spot for zenit after we played em. Craziest away fans ive ever met. We were ont train from manchester, rammed with commuters and football fans from oxford road onwards. Loads of singin and drinking vodka and whiskey with these weird cracker like things that take the taste of the shots away. And then the same on the way back after a memorable victory (if only for the weather). Good times!

I remember that the pitch had two sets of lines down each wing because the dimensions had to be changed for UEFA Cup games. A couple of times the ball went over the first set of lines and their full-back picked it up ready to take a throw-in only to be penalised for handball, a decision which was greeted with a huge cheer everytime! I think UEFA gave in and allowed us to use our standard pitch after that.

UEFA also allowed us to play Zenit in England's largest outdoor swimming pool.

Christ, what a terrible game! It made our second leg against Sporting look like the 1970 World Cup Final. If Rangers are the best team in Scotland, then the Scottish Pub League must be even worse than i thought.

That is how this mornings headlines could have read after watching that shower of Scottish shite last night.

And regarding performance, fair enough there leagues about as good as the one were gonna drop into, however Rangers have played over 60 games this season and are starting to look tired,kinell if we'd played 60 games we'd of played the Junior Whites against Rangers!!
