trotter58 Posted April 20, 2008 Author Posted April 20, 2008 not sure what i want here keep sunderland in, or take the pressure off em? Keep Sunderland in the shite. The more teams that are involved, the better. They've got Boro next...
cbwfcd Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 Newcastle win, then sunderland lose next week, we dick spurs and set up a 6 pointer at the reebok!

Traf Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 It's not inconceivable that Sunderland will not get another point. They could quite easily lose at home to Boro, here at the Reebok and at home to Arsenal. Reading won't beat either Wigan or Spurs, but will win at Derby. Birmingham will do well to get more than 2 draws against Fulham and Blackburn: they'll lose to Liverpool too. That set of results keeps us safe, without having to get anything from the Spurs or Chelsea trips. ie a win v Sunderland should be enough.

I like the way you're thinking Traf - But chances are you won't be accurate, funny results happen at this stage of the season, and i still think Fulham might make a fist of it
Tonge moor green jacket Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 I too think Fulham might do summat- however if that's against Brum then that should be of benefit to us
