May 4, 200818 yr Sammy Lee inherited a car crash of a club, and unfortunately he wasn't the man to deal with that. I still have bad dreams about that Newcastle game. But he had started to turn it round, signing A O'B was a masterstroke, give him credit for that. If Megson had been here all season, I think we'd be on around the 45 point mark. That we only got 36 point this season is very worrying, it's our lowest in the Prem yet we've survived. He's earned the chance of another season in my eyes, even though I'm unconvinced he can return us into the top half of the table.

May 4, 200818 yr He isnt wrong you know. He did the job that was asked of him. Aye but that doesn't mean he's the best man for the future does it? I'll doff my cap to him for keeping us up (even though we'd only played 10 games when he came in and I think he made incredibly hard work of it) But mark my words we'll be in this position next year if he stays Nothing I've seen since he arrived, nothing he did before suggests anything other than a struggle.

As for keeping us up, all down to players, can anyone denote a change in tactics that kept us up? Get rid, or we will be in serious trouble next season.
