May 4, 200818 yr Get rid, or we will be in serious trouble next season. I'm not convinced he should stay, but I do wonder who out there is available, willing to come to BWFC, and can do a good enough job?

May 4, 200818 yr Get rid, or we will be in serious trouble next season. Dont talk daft!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
May 4, 200818 yr He's taken a bottom of the table in disarray to safety & made some decent signings. Sacking him would make us a joke of a club like City. I still want a punch up with Megson's Merry Men mind.
May 4, 200818 yr i think we've forgot this topic is about a new pic for megson, and we need stability at the club otherwise we'll and up like newcastle but with less money, shit!
May 4, 200818 yr i think we've forgot this topic is about a new pic for megson, and we need stability at the club otherwise we'll and up like newcastle but with less money, shit! So you want topics that remain "on-topic" not wander "off-topic"?
May 4, 200818 yr FFS, just enjoy today. We are staying up. FCUK LISBON. Lisbon still narks me Edited May 4, 200818 yr by Crew86
May 4, 200818 yr Lisbon still narks me I know a lot of you spent yer hard earned going to lisbon, and he fcuked up big time, but he has done a great job.
May 4, 200818 yr I know a lot of you spent yer hard earned going to lisbon, and he fcuked up big time, but he has done a great job. If that is true, what about the previous 8 results before the West Ham game?
May 4, 200818 yr If that is true, what about the previous 8 results before the West Ham game? What about them? He has done what he was asked to do.
May 4, 200818 yr What about them? He has done what he was asked to do. I don't want to rain on your parade but we've got 36 points, we have stayed up because Derby should never have been in this division, Reading can't score and Birmingham, well I don't know what happened to them. All the same, most seasons, we'd be down. I'm very relieved, no more, no less.
May 4, 200818 yr Kept us up but i am of the same opinion as bolty here. I actually watched em for the first time this season (thanks Neil ) My last match before this was at the end of last season. I would have to say that the quality of the side has reduced three fold since then. I could not believe how poorly we played against a team who where very ordinary and for the most part not interested. The quality of speed campo et al has been replaced with very ordinary signings. with the loss of diouff, campo and Stelios in the summer, this side will imo not stay up next year. Megson has a record of falling out with players and making poor signings, I am afraid that the future looks grim. Edited May 4, 200818 yr by Big_Girl_Oral_Explosion
May 4, 200818 yr Indisputable facts:- 1) Megson has achieved what he was brought in to do. Just. 2) We will stay up - most likely on goal difference - in a PL which will boast having had the worst team in history in it. I believe there is a brighter future for us than that offered by Gary Megson. I hope he makes me look a complete idiot and has us in the top 8 by the end of next season. If he retains his job, I am willing to bet heavily that we will end up in the bottom half of the table. What odds would you offer me Cassie?
May 4, 200818 yr As usual, you talk about and for others with no justification he took on a losing team, had the best player sold from under him. played without a goal scorer and kept us up And still kept us as a losing team, his best player was sold with his permission and in any event, most players get sold from underneath managers (Anelka was going whatever, regardless of anyones views), however, where was the replacement for Anelka, or is three months not long enough, and this goes for the without a goal scorer comment. As for keeping us up, all down to players, can anyone denote a change in tactics that kept us up? Get rid, or we will be in serious trouble next season. Yes its down to players like Davies In terms of changing the tactics, of course he did he got the players back to playing the way they were used to, not this champagne football LSL tried to introduce which would have certainly sent us down
