Apparently we are after Emile Mpeza who is available on a free after leaving Manchester City. Not a bad player i don't think but does get injured quite a bit. Surely we should be going after someone better i.e. Gomis, Elmander etc.?

I wouldn't have a problem with Mpzenza on the books as a squad player. But we would still need a good quality striker as well.

 

Mpzenza could do a job, off the bench or starting when injuries and suspensions kick in.

Mpenza had massive potential. Yes he's had injuries, but I can't believe his brother Mbo has seemingly had a better career thus far.

 

Emile is far more talented.

Pace and power. Worth a punt for nothing. Being as our strikeforce at the moment effectively consists of one man (Davies), we're going to need a cheap but good and hopefully quick striker for the bench.

Aye - I've seen him too - his missus looked class though.
