Getting a straight red after a rash challenge in the dying seconds at Newcastle.

Thought better of him than that. Certainly showed no real signs of throwing his teddy out of the pram when he was with us.

Missed a sitter today too.

Dived in with both feet many times with us, was lucky never to catch anyone.

Yeah, we should have bought him.

What shite: he's no better than our current cloggers.

Shit! I heard the whack when he hit him on motd!! Lost it bigtime there!

worst foul so far this season

there's diving in with both feet then there's his tackle on satdee

proper frustrated he was, didn't take him out first time so second time went for both knees, just to make sure

I always thought last season that Guthrie along with Cohen was a red card waiting to happen.

Not seen it: any links?

Here ya go HTH

Cheers. Yes: shocking tackle.

Broke Fagan's leg according to SSN

Should get a long ban for that, did it with intent!

Aye, broken leg, out for 3 months. Guthrie should be banned until Fagan is fit to play

I thought he would have been more of a dodger.

Terrible. If someone did that to me they'd better watch out next time I face them.

It's the intent ... I can stomach a bad tackle but just outright kicking someone, putting them out for 3 months, I'd be fuming at the arrogance of it

It was tantamount to assault, because it was nothing to do with the game itself

I still haven't seen it!

Ouch!

It didn't sound good either.

Silly boy.

He got up and walked off fagan.

And hes out for 3 months?

A broken leg doesn't neccesarily mean he can't walk. I presume they meant a bone in his leg is broken. I don't think Fagan is faking it, do you?

A fracture to his right tibia apparently. That's a broken leg.

edit: with the club saying between 6 weeks and 3 months out.

Edited by no balls

Decent young talent but thats a fcukin joke. Could of been alot worse than a fracture.

With some of the recent court cases in football, this is a prime example - that was assault.

thing I don't get, it was quite clearly deliberate, resulting in broken tibilia(?)

ok, Eduardo and Cech's injuries were worse in some ways but there's been nothing like the attention on this than there was on them, and you could argue whether Hunt meant it or not, Taylor def didn't
