Traf Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 It's a pity they don't play all year round. NFL is a decent earner for me. Quote
Traf Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Week 16 Cleveland -3.5 lost by 17.5 Tennessee +1.5 won by 18.5 St Louis +5.5 won by 4.5 Detroit +6.5 lost by 28.5 Kansas +4.5 lost by 2.5 Arizona +7.5 lost by 32.5 Buffalo +7.5 won by 14.5 Seattle +4.5 won by 14.5 Oakland +7.5 won by 18.5 Atlanta +3.5 won by 7 Washington +5.5 won by 12.5 Giants -2.5 won by 3.5 Green Bay +4.5 yet to play Main bets this week: NY Giants, Seattle and Atlanta. A strange week this week. Apart from the Giants, the results were either easy wins or big defeats: the handicap betting is supposed to produce tight results! 5/9 regular bets 3/3 main bets. Quote

Traf Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 A strange week this week.Apart from the Giants, the results were either easy wins or big defeats: the handicap betting is supposed to produce tight results! 5/9 regular bets 3/3 main bets. Green Bay lost 20-17, but the 4.5pt handicap made it effectively at 21.5-20 victory for Green Bay. (is that clear enough, Big E?) 6/10 on the regular bets this week (59/107 for the season): 24pts returned from 20pts staked (236 from 214 for the season) 3/3 main bets this week (11/12): 30pts back from 15pts staked (110 from 60) Overall: 70/119 = 58.8% strike rate: 72pts profit (26.3%ROI) Quote
Traf Posted December 24, 2008 Posted December 24, 2008 Expect fun and games this week. Unusually, for the final week of a season, there's still lots to play for many teams. The NFC is pretty much sorted out now, except NFC North, where Chicago and Minnesota are vying for the division championship. Minnesota host the Giants, whilst Chicago travel to Houston. Chicago's game looks easier, but the Giants have already won their place in the play offs, so may rest key personnel. The AFC East, AFC West and one AFC wildcard have yet to be resolved, which should make for an interesting day on Sunday. Quote
Traf Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 2 main bets this week: Denver +9 Kansas +3 Quote

Traf Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 It would appear that I've dropped a bollock this week, folks. I posted my main bets, but not the other regular bets. I thought I'd posted them earlier in the week. Not being one to aftertime: I'll keep them to my self. Sorry. Quote
MickyD Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 Give us them anyway Traf. If you got 100% we'll have an inkling you're after-timing anyway. Quote
Traf Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Minnesota +3 to beat Philadelphia in NFC wild card game. Quote
Horwich Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 I fancy Philadelphia Eagles -3.0 against your lot. Quote
Traf Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 They're not my lot: I just think they'll win. Then again, I thought the Colts would beat the Chargers! Quote
Traf Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 I fancy Philadelphia Eagles -3.0 against your lot. Blew them away in the 4th Quarter. Quote
enzo gambaro Posted January 11, 2009 Author Posted January 11, 2009 San Diego must be worth a go for the Superbowl at 11/1. Christ knows how they've made the post season with an 8-8 record but if they can negotiate a tough game on the road in Pittsburgh today they'd have every chance. I'm already on the Giants at 18.5 and still reckon they're most likely, but the Chargers are in form at the right time and they make most appeal at current prices. Baltimore continue to look dangerous, though - I've been writing them off for weeks on the basis Joe Flacco would have to be some sort of miracle worker to QB a Superbowl winning side in his rookie season, and yet here they are just one game away from Tampa. Surely not... Quote
Traf Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 I thought the Colts would beat the Chargers! Minnesota +3 to beat Philadelphia in NFC wild card game. I expected the Giants to beat Eagles and the Chargers to beat the Steelers. 4 reasons why I don't bet on play-off games. Regular season only for me! Quote
Traf Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 A bit too late for the info, but this is how sports game previews should be done: http://pointers.audiovideoweb.com/stcasx/n...-1.wmv/play.asx Quote
