Said this to my mate I went with today.

 

What a trip that was, and what I would give to be doing a similar thing in a weeks time.

Just ending my 24 hour keg sesh this time last year,

 

lost to fcuk in middle of Munich

 

The best 3 days of my life

Really looking forward to the Hull game just as I did with Munich. Both for very different reasons.

 

I bet nobody would've predicted we'd be playing Hull this time next year. Not in the Premier League anyway!

This is a really random thing to remember, (especially when I don't have one) but did the i-phone go on sale the day after Munich?

( I can't remember most of the day in Munich but I remember that!!!)

Thought about the Munich trip today when I looked at my poppy. I wore one on my jacket in Munich and got some strange looks and comments from our own fans. I dont know why, I was'nt trying to make a statement.

Why did you have to remind us? Its a good job ive got Berlin to look forward to or i would be joining the suicide queue on Barton bridge on the way home!

My opinion of him has changed very little, and I think that is true of many on this board. Though, I don't think I've ever called him a w?nker as that is just a little childish imho.

the munich game was something like his 4th in charge, 2 games later, we beat munich

 

it was like when you start seeing a girl who is more than happy to fellate

 

over time though, the means to the end is the odd limp wristed hand job, same result, different way of getting there

You should've tried the driving snow at Dachau. I think it was done for effect by a snow machine as started as we walked out of there & across the yard. A moving moment of my life, I'll never forget.

Possibly my favourite Euro trip. Munich was designed for football trips

Imo Munich was the best stadium and the best game and the best result of our Euro trips, but it wasn't the best crack before or after - Guimaraes for me.

I think Munich has to be the best trip of the lot - had everything.

Had a great afternoon in Istanbul though, seeing the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque & Topkapi Palace on a sunny warm Autumn afternoon. What can I say - I'm a tourist !

And Bourgas as the first trip (other than Pisa, which was great too) has a very special place in the memory bank.
