At the risk of being slammed i gotta say, watching (or even listening to) Bolton at the moment is a cure for insomnia

Tactics are not as simple as what formation we play. Megson gets well paid to sort out the tactics and apart from November, when he got it right mainly, he is very inept.

He cannot change a game with his change in formation or in personnel. If we go one down then you just know it is game over in most cases.

the tactics against wiggin were spot on it just seemed the players all decided as one to be utter utter dross!!

from the clips I heard we just sounded a very poor side with no drive or ability to win the game.

I am basing my opinion about tactics from many games I have seen under this guy.

Do not see how we will stay up, the good run of results in November kept Megson in a job, but in my opinion booked us a trip to the Championship. Can not see any positives.

i know we have had some 'lucky' results and if we had nt won the game we have we would be in the bottom 3 but i can see how we might just stay up.

I do not see what he brings to the table, i agree he seems to have bought well, but he was given an amount to spend, not looking for frees or loans.

 

But i lack confidence in his ability and i do not think his tactical awareness (or coaching / backroom staff) is at the level required for ''the best league in the world''.

 

I am not a fan of the man or the comments he comes out with, his actions in Portugal, can you put me right, what managerial decisions, tactical changes did the man make to change a result into or favour, i can not really think of any.

I quite like his honesty and I have given him plenty of time to prove his worth, but that interview was utterly abysmal, the guy is complete antithesis of motivational and is taking us nowhere fast.

 

The more I listen to him the more I despise him, and I only have to do it once a week!! Heaven help the players.

i think he was having a dig at the press to be honest but either way he is a miserable red ginger, so if he doesn't like why does he not pi$$ off and let someone have the job whomay enjoy it!!

Don't know why this conversation keeps doing the rounds, the guy is going nowhere....we could be relegated for example, and he will still be here, just do what i do and live with it and move on

yes it is.fcuk everyone outside our club .if it's the worst manager in the world running our club get behind him.there are to many people in football hate bolton and our club so fcuk them all stand up and be counted as a bolton fan and get behind megson.we are bolton no one likes us we are bolton from the north WEST
