January 31, 200917 yr Understatement of the year! Fookin immense today Edited January 31, 200917 yr by Carlos
January 31, 200917 yr lmfao, i dont even remember half of the stuff i write, as i never read it once its been posted either, they are truly magical the norks not my posts
January 31, 200917 yr Credit where it is due. I put up a discussion about Anelka and it turned on the goals galore tap for him. SKD's form goes the same way. Who is next on the Yatesy improvement - the obvious has only been at the club for 10 days but already looks beyond hope! Cue goals for Makka!

He'll probably get next months Manager Of The Month award if you do
January 31, 200917 yr Big Davies and little Davies ran the show today. Mark Davies showed today even more how much Nolan's performances had dipped for us in recent times.
January 31, 200917 yr How about joining taddy nowak in a 'Megson out' tirade? He'll probably get next months Manager Of The Month award if you do That is beyond me, after nearly coming to blows with some of the idiots at Ewood on Wednesday. As we know from what happened after November's Manager of the Month, we could do with passing on any future such awards!
January 31, 200917 yr As we know from what happened after November's Manager of the Month, we could do with passing on any future such awards! I know what you mean by that but, in all seriousness, you only had to look at the next half dozen fixtures after he got the award to realise that what did happen was always a big possibility. As some wise old heads said on here, the next half dozen fixtures starting at Ewood Park were points accruing opportunities and, not for the first time, it seems they were right. 4 out of every possible 6 points over the next four games will have me deliriously happy.
February 1, 200917 yr I haven't read all the threads so not sure if it has been mentioned but what is the new goal celebration referring to? Either playing a flute or drinking from a straw it looked like.
February 1, 200917 yr I haven't read all the threads so not sure if it has been mentioned but what is the new goal celebration referring to? Either playing a flute or drinking from a straw it looked like. Merely a tribute to our legions of fans who observe the games from The Flying Flute.
February 1, 200917 yr The guy was awesome, and he always is.Always puts 110% in.I love seeing the fear in some of these nancy boy foreign players eyes as they see Mr Davies bearing down on them.So glad he's started scoring, should be a real confidence boost for the guy.Thought his son played rather well too!
February 1, 200917 yr Seemed more a saxophone than a flute to me, I'd love to know what it's all about though!
February 1, 200917 yr could possibly a reference to them puffing on the hubbly bubbly pipes while out in dubai? honey leaf anyone?
February 1, 200917 yr Just seen the photo of SKD's second goal in The Sunday Mirror, how the fcuk he managed to score i'll never know - it looked like a roman orgy of players in front of him Edited February 1, 200917 yr by Burndens Bogs
February 1, 200917 yr Just seen the photo of SKD's second goal in The Sunday Mirror, how the fcuk he managed to score i'll never know - it looked like a roman orgy of players in front of him One word summed up that goal. Desire. He was keenest to get to the ball of all the players nearby.
February 1, 200917 yr The bit at the end where he pelted 20 yards just to head the ball out of play with a big smile on his face was just great for me. Summed him and his performance up.

February 1, 200917 yr Had the good fortune to have VIP tickets yesterday, watched the game sat alongside a couple of Spurs fans. I told them SKD always mullers Dawson, he don't like it up him. As we shook hands after the game, they said "you were'nt wrong" Davies wanted to win everyball & the Spurs defenders, Woodgate aside, did,nt
February 1, 200917 yr Alternate view of the goal: Pleased to be captain? Great photos I wonder why he has a bit of a bandage round his hand in the 2nd photo? Probably just a dislocation or summat, or a few bones sticking out maybe Legend. Edited February 1, 200917 yr by Burndens Bogs
February 1, 200917 yr The whole "its time for SKD to be out of the team" amazes me really. At a time when football has changed beyond all recognition since i started wandering down to Burnden as a kid, I look at Kevin Davies and see someone who still appreciates how lucky he is to be a pro football. Guts, desire and honesty the fella is one of us, a man amogst the sea of overpaid over hyped nobheads. Not the most talented of players but someone who has made the most of the ability he has. Yesterday only served to prove what many already knew, SKD can influence a game more than most people at the club. Dropping Davies would be fucking madness
