February 12, 200917 yr In all seriousness Col how welcome would a hooped shirt be made to feel welcome? Well, if it was me, a very warm welcome. Swan Vistas and some lighter fuel should do the trick.

February 12, 200917 yr who's playing? Two Scottish pub teams, both suffering from an identity crisis. One's in blue, but prefers orange and wants to be English. The other's look like Pacers and want to be Irish.
February 13, 200917 yr bigots v bigots terrorists v terrorists Bloody hell - just like Hamas v Hizbollah then eh?
February 13, 200917 yr Bloody hell - just like Hamas v Hizbollah then eh? Kind of, except they are kind of on the same side. Maybe you meant Hamas v the State of Israel?
February 13, 200917 yr Kind of, except they are kind of on the same side. Oh yes, never a cross word between the two eh? Just like them lovely Sunnis and Shi'ites and those nice lads at Fatah who have also not really had any skirmishes with Hamas or Hizbollah? I wonder which will be the next one to qualify for a 'disproportionate response' from the state of Israel? Hizbollah not exactly stormed into the melee to assist Hamas recently?
February 13, 200917 yr I tried wearing a Celtic shirt to the famous Zico Kelly game at Wigan and got attacked from both Wigan and Bolton fans.... so I think I'll give your pub a miss thanks.

How do you TRY and wear a shirt? Maybe you got attacked for having it as a sarong and everyone thought you were a poof.
February 13, 200917 yr I tried wearing a Celtic shirt to the famous Zico Kelly game at Wigan and got attacked from both Wigan and Bolton fans.... so I think I'll give your pub a miss thanks. But why the fuckery would you wear it to a game involving 2 other teams?
February 13, 200917 yr But why the fuckery would you wear it to a game involving 2 other teams? In the hope another left hooker will say "Howdo" ?

I had you down as a Doonhamer with no allegiance to that rabble? I am surprised that anyone wearing that shirt is surprised if they get attacked in England. Seen too many being worn whilst lobbing bricks at British troops or cheering some scumbag terrorist dressed in a balaclava and brandishing a Kalashnikov. Remember Warrington, Manchester, M62...............................
February 13, 200917 yr In all seriousness Col how welcome would a hooped shirt be made to feel welcome? You'd be made Welcome don't worry about that!Col might be a big Gers fan but he's not an Ar*ehole, well not a complete one anyhow, ive atended a couple now in his pub and can vouch for a good day even if the Gers lose, there's one or two Celts go in with the Hoops shirts on and they have a friendly banter!Hope to see you there!

Remember Warrington, Manchester, M62............................... Totally agree. I was at the memorial service at Hartshead Moor last week - can't imagine a passerby wearing a Celtic shirt would have been too welcome. As for the match, I couldn't give a flying fcuk.
February 13, 200917 yr I was young and stupid.. now I'm middle aged and stupid. I watched Celtic for a while and bought a shirt. I have no religious views on sport... it's about the game for me. I only "supported" Celtic because Rangers had won everything for feckin years and I wanted the underdog to win Anyway... I've grown out of the phase now. I want them both to lose every week.

Since your exploits last year, I have been watching how QOS are going. In a bit of a precarious position! By the way, it ain't about religion for me either. You wouldn't meet a more commited atheist. It's about Britishness and those who are proud of it or hate it. Edited February 13, 200917 yr by bolty58
