February 23, 200917 yr Just look at bottom of the championship, Charlton, Southampton, Watford all ex Prem down there. We would of been lingering in a similar area imo. Looking at the bottom half of the Championship it's quite staggering how many pretty successful teams in recent years are now really in the sh1te. Quite a few of these clubs decline started by knee jerk reaction by chairmen under pressure from their own fans. IMO a few fans need to take a long hard look at this table for a reality check . 10 Ipswich 34 6 7 4 23 16 7 4 6 25 21 11 50 11 QPR 32 9 4 3 22 15 3 7 6 12 17 2 47 12 Sheff Wed 34 9 5 3 22 10 3 4 10 14 35 -9 45 13 Coventry 33 7 5 5 21 20 4 6 6 16 19 -2 44 14 Crystal Palace 31 7 4 4 22 14 5 3 8 20 23 5 43 15 Derby 32 7 4 5 23 17 4 4 8 17 26 -3 41 16 Doncaster 33 6 5 5 9 10 5 2 10 18 28 -11 40 17 Blackpool 34 4 5 8 19 27 5 6 6 15 21 -14 38 18 Watford 32 8 3 5 30 24 2 3 11 16 29 -7 36 19 Barnsley 32 6 4 6 19 15 4 2 10 11 26 -11 36 20 Plymouth 34 5 4 8 21 25 4 5 8 10 19 -13 36 21 Nottm Forest 34 4 6 7 17 22 4 4 9 19 28 -14 34 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 22 Norwich 34 6 5 6 29 23 2 4 11 15 30 -9 33 23 Southampton 33 2 7 8 16 23 5 3 8 16 28 -19 31 24 Charlton 33 5 4 7 22 27 1 4 12 12 28 -21 26

February 23, 200917 yr And the top 3 in the Championship. Team get promoted and relegated.Thats football. And as demonstrated by looking at the championship table, not all go back up, in fact some go even further down.

February 23, 200917 yr Coca-Cola 1 teams that I recall playing in Premier League: Leicester MK Dons (as Wimbledon) Oldham (But briefly. now seem to have re-discovered their level.) Leeds (How the mighty fall with bad club management! Be careful what we wish for with Bolton!) did Milwall once have a brief stop in the top division or am I getting mixed up with their FA Cup final position?
