Asked him if he'd had a good night and he mumbled something about a play at the Octagon and did I fancy going for a beer

 

I made my excuses and left

 

Bit early to be so p?ssed though, in fact, if I was a betting man, I'd put money on it that he'd been out all night

 

I can only think he'd been to a sportsmans dinner as that the only time I've ever been in that state at 1.00 o'clock in the afternoon

Oh and not that you lot are all peasants in Bolton but the person in front of me was attempting to pay for an 80 pence cone of chips with a debit card
