Usually towards (I think)

Either way, they're cunts! :D

Well I was just travelling home NB and was doing about 80 int 3rd lane and looks up and ont bridge just after Birch services they were set up with the camera on the bridge, SJM speed offender :good:

If the camera is pointing towards you, that is usually a good indication of which way they're focusing on.

Good point Traf but the angle of the camera didnt seem as though they were on my side of the motorway

so if you're going to speed, then is it better to do it on the wrong side of the road?

Speaking of which, well, a bit of a tangent, but anyhow; How annoying is it when you're on a motorway and folk in front of you slam on to slow down because they see a police vehicle on the other side. Fuckwits!

Not as annoying as folk who slow to 60 and won't overtake the Highways Agency cars.

spoke to a chap who drives one of them he finds it funny when people come hooning up the outside, spot him then slow to a crawl until they spot it's just a HA car then belt off again.

as for camera's on a bridge they're generally picking you up heading towards them.

one of the wifes work colleagues husband's is one of these HA people around the Luton area, he gets paid ?28K per year, for generally just driving around and helping people change tyres. Not the greatest wage, but not too bad really for what it entails

you may be lucky, the cameras could have been DVLA cameras , for tax, insurance etc

and you can get away with 78 mph

My bother-in-law is a motorway police officer, and he has said to me that the slowest he?s got down to before someone as the balls to over taken him is 35 mph.

An other thing that pisses me off, is you are doing the speed limit (we will use St Peter's way as an example) why the when you get to the speed camera does the cunt in front jump on the brakes

Same as those thick fooks who slow down for fixed cameras pointing in the opposite direction.

got done 2 weeks back comeing back from blackburn on A666 van at side of road pointing other way me doing 60mph got letter only a 50mph road 10.30 in morning with only sheep about up there TWATS

i got caught at twenty past five in the morning doing 34 mph in a 30 zone. <_<

By the time you see those cameras on the bridge, it's already done you!!

They have a range of about a mile, laser beam.

ST

Done 50,000 miles in a year!!!

Went to Crewe this morning, the motorway was crawling with speed cops, I saw at least 7 police vehicles parked on the hard shoulder, speed camera units on a couple of bridges too.

as i said earlier athy, these cameras are sometimes DVLA , camera clocks you, 5 miles down pc plod pulls you up.

if you have no tax, insurance or outstanding fines..( on the car )

Here may be another stupid question but do they clock every car that is speeding or do they pick a few out?

If you?re speeding I would have said everyone

It would be no different then the license plate recognition software the police use, this clock every car that passes a patrol car and check with the DVLA computer that your car is taxed and insured
