Happy St George's Day - 23rd April

Why not just celebrate the fact that you are lucky enough to be born in this land where the people who lived here in the previous centurys produced a democratic, civilised society whose rate of technological advancement also outpaced many other societys.

We're talking about Greece again, right?

I?ve proudly got a St George?s flag flying at the bottom of my garden.

It?s a flag I borrowed off my neighbour, a former French soldier.

All I had to do was paint the cross on it.

=D> :good:

That's very funny, well done :D

Anyhow

As for St Georges Day

I'd rather be English than any other nationality, despite all the things wrong with Bolton and England

I always feel a warmth when I see either abroad

And I can't help but nailing my colours to the mast when talking about either who aren't (both Bolton or England)

So, for that reason, I'll always tell people I'm from Bolton and I'll always tell people I'm from England

It's in the genes, anybody who says otherwise is an utter queer

Keep St George in my heart keep me English, Keep Frank Worthington in my heart I pray

Only idiots take pride in the fact they were born in a certain country. Look around. English people are sickening. The fact that you were spat out on the same piece of mud as all those other halfwits should instill a feeling of shame, not pride.

You make me laugh all you "proud to be English for one day of the year because our flag is named after a Greek man who appears in a few mythical stories" tossers.

Now I understand where you are coming from to a certain extent, but I am English and nomatter what, it makes me better than any Belgian and I challenge anyone to prove otherwise.

Belgium is insignificant.

It should be some backwater municipal district in Holland.

I have the worst f?ckin' hangover on the planet!

Its as a result of St. George - so he can go fck himself!!!

Twas a good day yesterday :drinks:

Your incontinence flared up again?

Just been to my local and im not barred, Brucie Bonus :yahoo: :drinks:

I'm not fishing. I just fail to understand why someone would want to "celebrate being English", when the majority spend 364 days of the year moaning about it and feeling ashamed.

Do you only love your mum on mothers day?

down to the bile now.

Not many get banned from the rockett.

Cracking day out. :drinks:

Got back to the local last night, to find out, with every pint you bought you got a shot of vodka free, to say I felt rough this morning is an understatement.

:bad:

hope that was not my pub......L O L
