djorkaeff
After watching the divisional cup final on Sunday it made me realise how much I missed my Sundays playing football. Ive now got thoughts of getting a team to play in the league next season. I did used to run a team in the league about 4 years back and its one of the best leagues to play in for veterans (though there arent that many about). Anyhow if youre 35+ and want to play on Sundays (11am kick offs),contact me either by P.M or e-mail halesy@sky.com

Traf
If you're talking next season, I might well be interested, if I haven't emigrated by then.

Smiley
Djorkaeff let me know how you get on with the recruitment. Like I said last night, thinking of setting up a team myself - but seems pointless both doing it - when we'll be asking the same folk! Traf
Perhaps you could set one up together? It takes more than 1 person to run a team.

Smiley
Lost. 3-1 or 3-2. Wife saw The Daubhill dribbler at rounders today. Very conservative! It was 3-0. First goal was a combination of TSO being slow to react to a ball over the top (due to him being inebriated from his early morning dancing at The Swan) and our keeper fumbling the ball under pressure. Second goal was from a badly defended corner - resulted in a shot from edge of box that I tried to block.... but inadvertently sliced it past our keeper! Third goal was again from a badly defended corner - ball swung to back post and nobody picked up their big lad who headed in. We had a few chances - but didn't really put them under enough pressure. Bear & AWO both had pretty outstanding games in the middle of the park. 3-4-3 formation didn't work.
